Amazing! We popped in for a Saturday lunch with a friend and our dogs. Not only was the place super dog friendly, but was both welcoming and impressive. The food was wonderful and the service was flawless. The young lady serving us was attentive and friendly. We are only in the area on holiday but wish we'd found this place sooner. Thanks so much and well definitely get another visit before our return home. Ps the Korean BBQ burger was delicious, and the cherry Bakewell sundae was superb!

Been today with my sister and husband and son for my sister?s birthday the food was lovely the staff really friendly service good the pubs nice inside and good prices will definitely come again

Reserved a table for two for a midweek lunch. We were under time constraints so skipped a starter and just ordered mains consisting of scampi and chips, and bangers and mash. After waiting for 45 minutes they finally turned up. I had the temerity to ask why it had taken so long but just got a bunch of stroppy nonsense about the restaurant being at capacity, even though at least 50% of the tables were empty. So, if you like waiting for overpriced food with a side order of aggressive and boorish behaviour from the staff then this could be the place for you. Enjoy.

Great roast dinner, great pint of Guinness, decent and quick service. Used to regular king William at Scaftworth but the sun inn is next level compared to there. New Sunday spot. Great beef, great chicken.
