Lovely Atmosphere, beautiful decor
Burgers and Fresh Sea food Dishes and the Pies are fantastic.
House Salad asked for no dressing, still got dressing and micro tomatoes and olives not to my taste to be honest.
The portion of fries was impressive and very tasty.
Would love more Gluten free options and the choice to meet my needs was fries and salad only and couldn't eat the salad

Wow the best roast dinner we?ve had in ages! Absolutely amazing potatoes & beef. Even the veg was beautiful, lovely service and smiley staff. Brilliant thank you!

A lovely evening visit. Comfortable seating and a homely feel as cosy corners to be seated in for autumn and winter. Outdoor seating nice for a summer evening.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Service was friendly and efficient.
Came for Sunday lunch. The roast meats are generous and come with all the trimmings. You must try the side order of cauliflower cheese, it?s really cheesy and totally delicious. The sticky pork bao buns with kimchi are also not to be missed.

What an incredible establishment. We live locally but have never been into The Royal Oak. I am so glad we did. We visited on a lovely sunny Sunday lunch time and was immediately greeted by a member of staff. We hadn't booked but luckily they had a table free for us. The staff were fantastic, very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Nothing was too much trouble.
I opted for the Beef roast dinner and my husband had beef & turkey. All I can say is you will not be disappointed. Every aspect of the meal was sensational. We also opted for the cauliflower cheese and my days, this is incredible.
I love how you can see your meals being prepped by the chefs, it was quite fascinating to watch and also a nice touch that 'nothing is being hidden'.
100% would recommend and we cannot wait to come back.

Stopped in for a few drinks during our stay in Edwinstowe.The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the toilets are the cleanest and freshest i've ever seen.Keep up the good work and we'll definately be back on our next visit.

Brilliant quality food and drink. Service was lacklustre and let them down. From arriving it took 2 hours and 40 mins to finish our mains and deserts; 45 mins for the mains to arrive then almost the same again for the deserts.
I sympathise that it was busy, and we were a party of 6 adults and 2 children, but the staff did not keep us informed. Trying to keep a 4 and 5 year old amused for that length of time was stressful.

We ate here two days in a row after having the best Lamb Kofta I?ve ever had. Husband and I couldn?t stop declaring how delicious it was. Had a Sunday Roast the next day which was good too.
