My other half went out for a casual night out, After a few crossed words outside of this pub - he was slapped across the face by Kaine Oliver (yes my other half had had a few drinks however nobody deserves to be assaulted the way he he was by the bar owner himself!). This behaviour is not only disgusting but not what I would expect from a supposed reputable business owner and council person!

The staff at Oliver's go above and beyond to make sure their customers receive the best customer service. I have eaten here previously and the food is amazing. If you are in the area, I really recommend giving Oliver's a try. Not many places offer such attention and care to their customers needs and they are flexible with the menu if you request in advance.

Booked in for a carvery for my birthday today and I was absolutely blown away they knew I was celiac and made me Yorkshire puddings stuffing and cauliflower cheese all gluten free and catered to my needs the service was absolutely incredible the chef went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe for me to eat so Thankyou for such a lovely dinner and a lovely service will be back ??
I couldn?t finish all the stuffing cauliflower cheese and Yorkshires so they wrapped them all up for me to take home
This place definitely deserves more credit ??
I will definitely be recommending the carvery?s to my other celiac friends amazing job Thankyou again ??

Very dirty. Didn't go for food. It was very late. I understand how difficult it is to keep on top of things on a Friday night. Public need to be more considerable even when drunk ?

Ordered the tomahawk steak and it did not disappoint! Cooked perfectly as requested and thoroughly enjoyed, we have eaten steak all around Europe and this was definitely in the top 5

First time visit. Called in here as we were driving by and saw the carvery sign. Most probably one of the best carvery meals we have had. Large choice of meats, fresh, nicely cooked veg and outstanding Yorkshire puds. Will definitely be returning. Fantastic value for money.

Had a Sunday carvery for the first time here and it was amazing will definitely go again .
The burgers look fantastic also as been in the evening and seen them, friendly staff and really nice place in all .

Disappointed in the Mid week carvery, The Yorkshire puddings were so small! And not as shown as they are on pictures, The ?roast potatoes? were actually baby potatoes and were tiny aswell!! When we arrived we were told that there was only beef left, but it was fairly obvious that they hadn?t had any customers for dining in that day, In the upstairs dining area nobody had been in. Overall the lady behind the bar was lovely, and the meat was quite tasty too.

Great prices and really tasty freshly made food. Staff were super friendly too. We will definitely be trying the carvery based on today!
