Great atmosphere, obviously popular with locals on a Friday night. Felt welcoming too. Would have stayed for food but fully booked and would have been a long wait..... Obviously a good sign! We will be back.

Another excellent visit with food. This pub is run by very professional and efficient staff and the quality of its beers and food is excellent. Our principal server was Amy and she could not have been more efficient without being intrusive, also with useful advice about the menu and friendly banter. Highly recommended.

Village pub, but good atmosphere and menu. The dining area is smart and the service excellent. It was busy from 7.30 but no pressure to leave the table.
The staff are helpful and obliging. (My friend had a meat free Sunday roast?)
Vegetarian options: Restricted but an available option.

The food was very tasty.My mother was very impressed and said she has nothing as good in her area around Bedford.For a pub that is based in a small village you can't go wrong. Been several times now and great each time. Highly recommended.
