Great pub for a drink with friendly locals but disappointing response when I complained about the Sunday lunch. We were a late serving, eating at 2.30pm, which perhaps explains the roast potatoes like bullets. Didn?t complain at the time but mentioned it when leaving. A more courteous apology would have been appreciated. For the prices charged a better quality meal expected

We had a most enjoyable Sunday lunch with family. Cannot fault the food, service or atmosphere. It's not a bad drink selection either. Will definitely call again.

Pleasant enough pub for locals, however, as a non local just calling in for a pint and some food, ?if you haven?t booked a table no food available?. Seriously?.. Crisps are lovely tbf?.

Just had a fantastic family Sunday dinner. All the roasts were beautiful. Cooked to perfection with an abundance of fresh vegetables and excellent gravy. The desserts were fantastic. Loved the atnosphere and everyone there was lively and friendly. Will absolutely be going again.

Great atmosphere, lovely location what a joy to have a village pub like this. My only regret is the food wasn't a good as we have previously enjoyed.

Sunday lunch was very good quality and good value for money. Service was excellent: we had booked a table, but were running late as we were travelling a distance and traffic was heavy. Staff were very understanding of the circumstances and accommodating, with quick service. All staff were very professional and competant, which kept the busy Sunday lunchtime reastaurant running smoothly and everyone kept happy. We will definitely eat here again, if it fits in with our travel plans.

First time here meeting friends for ore Christmas meal, all our food was piping hot, beautifully cooked and well presented. Great service and nicely decorated. We will definitely be revisiting. Thanks for the great experience today.

Absolutely a Gem of a pub, lovely friendly staff, always welcoming. A range of different cask beers, and food cooked to the finest standard... At a reasonable price too... My new local! 5 stars all round!!
