Called in for a Sunday lunch after reading good reviews, but the food was very poor. I can pretty much eat anything, but this was too bad even for me. We ordered two beef dinners, and the beef was tough as old boots, bloody, undercooked, and cold. The roast potatoes were hard in the middle, and the mash was hard on the outside like it's been heated up. One dinner didn't have any gravy on. We then asked for gravy and overheard the staff saying f***ing hell. We then sent the dinners back because we couldn't eat them to only have the same standard of food brought back to us. We complained about this, and the young lad serving us said well it's hit, and miss. We paid full price for a dinner we didn't actually eat. We are not fussy people but will definitely not be going back here again. I'm not one for leaving bad reviews, but this was just inedible. So we left hungry, annoyed, and £35 worse off.

Absolutely love the relaxed atmosphere, warm welcome and spacious tables for our regular weekly domino friendly sessions! The young lady who usually looks after us now on a Tuesday evening is a credit to you and so lovely! Hope the pub will be able to continue under the eventual new ownership and not lose the current ?proper pub? ethos and we wish you well!

Lovely visit today. Came for lunch with my sister after a recommendation and so glad we did. Amazing food, lovely staff and reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

love the new grill menu, the quality is superb and prices are really good. Nice presentation of the food and the range available from the bar is spot on. ill definitely be back

The pub looked so pretty and the girl behind the bar was really welcoming and helpful but unfortunately the food was pretty awful. My daughters had the veggie burger which had 2 unrecognisable patties both of which were inedible. My son had the pizza - extremely bland and tasteless as was the garlic bread. My sub was only part-baked from frozen. The skin on fries were delicious.

We've just had our first Sunday lunch at the Cooper Beech, and I have to say, it was excellent. We received a warm, friendly welcome from the staff, and were seated in the bay window overlooking the garden area. We were a little surprised that the pub wasn't very busy, as the food was promptly served and very well presented. We both chose the regular sized roast lunch, but the portions were ample with lots of roast beef and well prepared vegetables. Great value and very enjoyable. Recommended.

Going to cause controversy here and suggest that this could be the best bike night in Nottinghamshire. The pub is beautiful with a really good sized beer garden at the front. I would happily bring the family here for food and drinks. What makes it really stand out though is their Thursday night bike night. You'll normally see roughly 200 bikes of all different makes and models. The landlady can normally be found at the front of the pub diverting bikes into proper parking spots. The first night we came here parking was a bit manic with loads parked on nearby streets, this has calmed down a lot now and nearly everyone is now parked in the pub car park. There are signs up encouraging patrons to be courteous when leaving the car park, please keep this in mind or the event will end up being heavily policed or shut down.

Had a great pie here, was home cooked and huge! It was a little quiet due to the time of day but friendly and polite staff.I would definitely go back if in the area.

Fabulous food that is freshly made and fab portions also very clean and helpfull place Ryan was so helpful and lovely girl serving at table very polite. best burgers I?ve tasted in long long time and my mum and dad had pie and lasagna so fresh and very good food excellent pizza fresh aswell a clean and lovely pub
