This store for sure has lost all its customer service standards, the tills are manned by very rude staff, who stand at the end on their own mobile phones, and just chat with 1 another!

Self service checkouts for big shops make it a nightmare. Constantly not recognising scanned items and cant bag as you scan. Only 1 person on a till with a queue of 10 people because they're so short staff. Terrible.

What has happened to good customer service in 2025?
I witnessed shocking behaviour from staff at this store. A Chinese customer trying to report a leaking drink was spoken to rudely by a red-haired staff member who said she ?didn?t care? and ?couldn?t help.? After he left, both staff openly mocked him in front of other customers.
When I challenged them, one (wearing a headscarf, no name badge) told me it had ?nothing to do with me.? Despite my paying for shopping, staff like her are kept in a job!
I also asked three staff members outside the store who the manager was?they couldn?t tell me.
Staff here often seem disinterested, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Tesco needs to take action.

Pretty much your normal Tesco Extra, has everything you could need including a cafe, clothes, tesco mobile, toilets etc, aswell as a couple of independent stores as you walk in.
Cafe serves decent food and drinks, although a little on the pricey side, on our visit the full english breakfast was delicious, hot and well cooked.
The store itself is generally well laid out and easy to navigate, products are kept well stocked and there are some great offers when you have a clubcard. The app is useful to find out where items are in store, although it sometimes takes a while to update after items have been moved around.
All staff members (esp. cafe) that we encountered were super friendly and couldn't have been more helpful when approached.
Overall a great store, and definitely one that we'll be returning to.

Went on self checks 3 staff where together 1 of them had his personal phone out and conversations about snapchat and hoildays while it was busy customers where awaiting helps!

I recently had the occasion to visit this supermarket and was, on the whole, met with a somewhat disheartening experience. While the staff were exceptionally warm, friendly, and attentive?truly commendable in their service?unfortunately, the state of the premises left much to be desired. The tills, quite frankly, were in a state of disrepair and in dire need of attention, while the floors were rather unkempt, detracting from what could have been a more pleasant shopping environment. I do hope the management will take these concerns seriously, as the potential for a first-rate experience is certainly there, were the cleanliness to match the professionalism of the team.

Sadi at the self serve tills is unprofessional and was very rude.
Normally have a good experience. Bought a mens hoodie which had the tag on it and I didn?t realise, asked a colleague ?Sadi? for help and was told there was nothing he could do and that we would have to pay again (double). I asked him to check the history of the self serve machine we paid on and we was met with an insufferable attitude.
Asked another colleague who saw us pay and she said it was okay and thankfully helped! Sadi then complained about us - saying we had an attitude to the colleague that helped us directly infront of us - really unprofessional and felt personally attacked. Will be wary of visiting again from this unfortunate interaction.
