Plenty on offer as a buyer, but as a donator, it's a poor experience. If you take stuff in to donate, they always give a look that makes it seem like we're massively inconveniencing them. Will actively look for alternative charity shops next time I need to donate things.

I bought a pair of chairs from the sue ryder Loughborough, one which broke. Claire the manager in beeston said I could return it to the beeston shop. She sorted it out with no problem. She was very nice to deal with. Infant all the staff was nice I saw today. I wish them all well with the charity work they do.

Constant shouting moaning to volunteers for being a little bit late by 10 minutes

It's got quite a bit of furniture and appliances at the back. Kids clothing section is not massive. Also not loads of books - but oxfam books is on the same street so fair enough! Big kitchen section and lots of adult clothes.

I saw 2x christmas wine bottle boxes in the window when passing the Beeston store so I called in and asked if I could purchase them. The lady kindly got them out of the window and I bought them. Once I got home I realised they were faulty and brittle after being in a window display. I contacted the store online and was told I could return them within 30 days for a refund. I took them into store today and the lady on the till was so rude. I explained that I'd like to return them, she said we don't accept brittle returns. After showing her my online communication where they said I could return it and after a lot of huffing and puffing she put the return through. I can honestly say I have never been spoken to or treated like this as a customer, anywhere. This was completely out of order. A faulty item is not my fault as a customer.

My elderly mother buys a lot of stuff from there, well used to. She bought a sofa for £80 but long ago, paid for delivery they brought it to her flat but it was too big to get through the doors so they took it away. She went to ask for a refund but was refused and she never got her money. They weren't interested in sorting it out for her and she is to old and fail to pursue it. I live abroad and she only just told me this experience else I would have been there to help her sort it out. Up until then she was a regular in there. They're con people taking advantage of vulnerable old people so watch out.

Very over priced shop now, use to be good. Nearly £5 for a used plain f&f men?s t-shirt ?

And lately I feel like a thief when I go in there. The staff follows me step by step. It discourages me from shopping. It's a shame because I used to love going there. Now I go in and out after a while, luckily there are many other stores with normal service.

Quite expensive on occasion and a tall gentleman that works there (unsure if he?s the manager?) needs a lesson in customer service as he can be quite rude
