Great service, my first new specs in 3 years. Jake was excellent at recommending frames for me and Tom was brilliant at fitting them when they were ready. The staff here really care, can't recommend enough

Not enough staff on a Sunday, people came in after but seen before due to being missed on the reception list. Prescription written down incorrectly had to have retest to see what prescription was actually required. Single vision spex OK but when varifocal caused some problems they didn't want to know. Only 2 people able to sort out the problem and one of them constantly kept ignoring so had to wait even longer to get it sorted. You would think if you have already made errors your customer service would be tip-top to try and redeem yourselves but it just got worse. Not a great experience.

I've been going here since around 2015 when my eyesight started to get worse and I have always been treated well. They also send out free eye test vouchers when it is near time for the appointment, so I have only ever had to pay for the glasses themselves, and never the eye test, which is really useful. They do great frames even for the cheapest prices, although the last time I went I got some of the £69 range glasses. However, when I came out of the opticians and were looking at the glasses once I had a moment, I noticed a chip in the corner of one of the lenses. Luckily this isn't visible to my eye when I'm wearing the frames, so isn't disturbing my vision in any way. But I would have thought the opticians check frames and lenses for these sort of things before handing them to customers. So either they didn't check, or they did check and didn't notice it, or they did notice and didn't let me know. I haven't been back to bring this us with them because as I said, the chip doesn't affect my use of the glasses, but I did mention it in my follow-up feedback. My advice would be to check lenses for this sort of thing while you are there with a member of staff, just in case.

Do like this shop BUT l have variofocul specs and it is hard work for my specs to be made toy prescription. Know of 3 other people who are not happy with them. Specs are to expensive to then not able to use them

I happily recommend this one. You will be always looked after by amazing friendly people. Here and there you can even have nice little laugh and chat because of how welcome they mame you feel. Always do their best to help and give the best service from all Specsavers.

I Visited Specsavers in Beeston for an eye test for the first time. Initially I wasnâ??t made to feel welcome, I went in for my appointment over half an hour late, I wouldnâ??t of minded as much if someone had communicated this to me upon arrival. After my eye examination I was served by a girl called Bea, firstly Iâ??ve never met anyone as rude as her. Being questioned of why do I need a safety glasses in a condescending manner; Either lack of communication from your optometrist to your optical staff or couldnâ??t be bothered to read my prescription. She laid 3 safety frames out from 25 they had and kept telling me the first one looks good to just get over done with. After choosing the frame I wanted I was asked for my vouchers. I had 4 vouchers from my work. 1 for my frame, 1 for my eye test, 1 for poly carbonate lens and 1 for anti-reflective coating. She advised I canâ??t use the fourth voucher for MAR even though Iâ??ve checked on the website and with my work that Iâ??m allowed to use it prior to coming for my appointment. Bea spoke to her even more useless manager who also advised I canâ??t use it and they took the voucher from me. I decided to call the head office for some clarification regarding my experience, they advised that the fourth voucher CAN be used for the anti-reflective coating and that theyâ??d re-order them with it on, which has meant Iâ??ve had to wait longer. Iâ??ve always used vision express and always been treated well. I wonâ??t be using this opticians again, all the staff need some re training on how to treat their customers.

The service was fantastic but the disabled entrance is around the back which would be fine if it was well maintained. My wheelchair got stuck in the potholes and there were lots of weeds.
