Travelled to Nottingham to visit family for Spring festival. Picked up food from here in Beeston. They were quite busy so had to wait 40 minutes but we were warned of that.
Food was rather substandard. My mainland chinese friends agreed. The twice cooked pork had hardly any meat and the mapo tofu wasn't standard in taste.
Had my hopes set high given this place has great reviews. Then again, I've had the fortune of trying many great Mainland restaurants so maybe my standard is different.

A tasty but bizarre place that tucked down an alleyway. The restaurant itself is cold and doesn?t heat up on a frost January evening! However, the spicy lamb with cumin and egg friend rice were good value and tasty. I would go again if in the area. FYI - Only takes cash!

Came for a quick lunch. Ordered the beef noodles in sesame chilli soup (£12.00) + sauteed fish & tofu (£9.00). Both were ok, noodles were not that spicey and both could've done with a little more seasoning. The portions were very good. Ordered the chinese tea (£3.00 + ££1.50). Can't go too wrong with hot water and dried tea leaves. Will come back for a quick chinese fix again!
Don't expect much with the atmosphere, it's just white plain walls, not a date worthy place.

Ordered food online. Told 30-40 minutes and they asked for my contact details. Got to store ontime and they charged me and then told me that they have not made the food as they have been busy and was told it would be an hour wait. Extremely poor service as contact details were on file

We ordered a take away of sweet and sour chicken, curry chicken, and spring rolls.
The food was an amazing, the portions were particularly good we shared the meal between 2 people and have leftovers :)
The people was very nice and the service was very fast. I would definitely go back and make it one of my go to places

Throughout my 5 years at university here, I have been coming here at least once a month. The food is delicious and always hits the spot. I recommend the aubergine in yu Xiang sauce and sweet ribs. Place is always tidy and staff are very nice. Serving sizes are also very generous. Will definitely miss this place.

Tiny Chinese tucked down an alleyway (don?t let that stop you though!). Smallish menu but big portions and what they produce is freshly cooked and excellent quality. The Chairman?s Pork was melt in the mouth delicious.
They don?t serve alcohol but we called and asked if we could bring our own and they said we could. Wine glasses were provided and they even put the bottle of white in the freezer for us to chill it down.

Quite little place hidden away in Beeston. The flavours are nice and subtle. The salt and pepper wings were my favourite.

Best chinese in Nottingham, the chairman pork literally melts in your mouth and tan tan noodles (spicy!) Have an incredible broth.

This restaurant is recommended by one of my friends who studied in Nottingham before. Food is affordable however I get disappointed with the taste. Much noodles with little meat.
