Its a small store, overpowering food smell to make you hungry and buy more. Purchased a few items wrongly priced christmas biscuits said £6 they were £10. The bread is overpriced and nothing special about it.The toilets are small couldnt lock the door and not clean. Visited 19th Dec 2023.

It does very much appear that M & S do not care about the local area. Other shops have a £1 lock, but M & S are quite happy for their trolleys to be everywhere and taken by anyone, including by young people, into the residential areas

Store is fine, staff are generally fine. Fresh produce sadly is obysmal. Strawberries went furry within two days even when refrigerated and pineapple was rotten from purchase, (where it looked and felt firm and healthy on the outside), as it was cut that evening for juicing, Really really disappointing.

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had I asked a staff member where the toiletries were he pointed and said over there, I went over to where he pointed to, there was a woman staff member, the section was so small all I said to the lady wow this is small guy who was rude to me came over ask what the problem was with a attitude she said that I'd said it was the worse display I said that I didn't get came right up to me and said with angry voice get out of my store or he would get police so I said get them I waited outside the store he lied to the police say they I'd threatened his staff , I told the police what had gone off the ask the lady staff member she said that I'd not be threatening so the police said just out a complaint in about him but m&s website there is no where to complain

I found what I was looking for...however I do wish they would stop moving commodities around so much...you think it is out of stock only to find it is somewhere different within the store Ahhhhh. !!

We would like to thank you we traveled down from northumberland to celebrate 60 years diamond wedding anniversary, and we did not have time to prepare all the sandwiches, so we took a risk and had them made for us , WOW they were great thanks you Marks and spencer for making it very special day would definitely use again Mrs Mr shardlow
