Terrible customer service.. I called in the branch yesterday and used the internal ATM machine do withdraw cash.. as it dispensed mainly £10 notes I wanted to change them for £20 notes so I went to the teller desk where there was 1 lady in attendance.. she ignored me for approximately a minute while she tapped away on her keyboard.. I thought it would have been a courtesy to at least acknowledge me or say I?ll be with you in a moment.. but nothing.. eventually the lady asked if she could help and I asked if I could change the £10 notes to £20s.. her first line was ?do you bank with us? to which I replied that I did.. she followed up with well you?re only supposed to pay money in? at that point I realised that the lady didn?t want the huge inconvenience of swapping a few notes over for a customer so I replied don?t worry about it.. and she said are you sure .. it may seem a trivial matter, but I was really disappointed in a clear lack of customer service here.. there was nobody in the branch and I fail to see why this was a request the lady couldn?t inconvenience herself with..

Horrible Staff. Went to Put a decent amount in and the staff at the counter services try force me to the deposit machine. Very unprofessional and Disgusting Attitude. The staff at the care desk also saying use the deposit machine. HSBC has much better customer service and staff are friendly. At the HSBC counter service branches the staff are friendly and they are happy to see the customers. Halifax don?t give a damn.

Very unhelpful staff. The branch in Nottingham centre is much better, provides more services and accurate information and solutions unlike the Beeston branch

Went Beeston at around 1pm. The til lady got poker face, doesn't even know that kids ISA and save ISA are different things, made me go around and around, waisted my time for nothing. Bad experience again in this branch. People there don't look like they want to work, why just close the branch and let those people go home to be miserable at home not to come out behave like that

Appalling customer service today, on a simple query. The cashier had already decided not to help before I had finish explaining. However, went to my Natwest branch in Long Eaton and they not only listen, but resolved for me in 2 minutes. It's the extra mile and care that makes the difference.

The worst experience I've ever encountered in any branch, of any bank, in any country!
The lady behind the counter was extremely rude and dismissive and the other out front, told us they close at 3pm so didn't have time to do what we needed, when it was only 2.20pm! We later found out that they supposedly stay on until much later to do admin... Do they though!?
We were at the point of closing everything we had with Halifax for going on more than 40 years after that experience, but luckily another branch redeemed Halifax!
I honestly believed from their attitudes that this Beeston branch was at the point of imminent closure and this explained their total lack of interest, as just giving up! But apparently it's not closing...yet!
Someone needs to get in there and sort it out!

Walked in on Thursday and person behind the till was very rude and clearly not wanting to work or help that afternoon. Rudely gave a phone number for us to call without exploring or finding out why we were in the branch. Very poor service. Will not use this branch again!

My experience..Not impressed with the staff there, not prepared to help on a simple matter & quite frankly made to feel i was a pain asking them to do something. The standard answer...you can do it on-line was not what I wanted to hear.Tried ring customer service got cut off twice which is very poor.A customer sales & service course would certainly help.I have visited the bank since the above review & to be fair the staff seemed more proactive, helpful, polite & eager to help, so well done!

Hi good morning i just went to Halifax in Beeston to deposit my cheque and the first thing that the staff behind the counter sed, is if i have online banking I could do it online I'm not ear to complain about but make it look like that day don't want to work.
