Today I went all round beeston for a specific adaptor to transfer files from my phone to a usb and only when I went into cex was I able to find one with the kind gentleman he took the time to look for one and even tested it for me

Sold my iPhone , 12 days later still not paid .
Only since I contacted customer service's, do I get info , downgraded my phone , so will get less money .
I appreciate that two days of this were bank holiday , but going into next week, will be near 2 weeks without payment .
They have my phone , in what other line of business does this happen?
Think I?ve been patient enough .

I went and was told sorry can?t test your stuff today as I have 5 other things to test today okay fair enough was kinda late too around 4ish
Went today the guy was scanning all the items to be tested why the manger is watching and waited till the last item to say going to be a couple days on them for testing ask why and he said I?ve got 7 graphics cards to test and other items I hope he has prove of this cause I?m going to head office to raise a complaint about it everytime I come to this store do I get a problem and to add to it he also said I don?t think we can take the cpu a Ryzen 7950x3d witch is on the website that they do buy and sell I?ve now had to go out my way to another store in town witch is mega busy might I add and there happy to test within the hour not sure what this mangers problem is but head office is gonna a complaint regardless
Oh also been long Eaton one before after having problems with this guy and they?ve also said that loads of customers have said the same thing about him how is he even still allowed to work there it?s crazy

Took a fire stick here they told me the remote didn?t work so got nothing for it tried the remote at home working fine . So I sent it off through the post to cex and they gave me £25 for it WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT !!

Went here to sell my phone there was a young man who was really helpful but the woman there was very unhelpful and rude will not be going to this shop again

I keep telling my two teenagers not to shop in CEX. My daughter bought three games today. One DS game cartridge was wrapped in sellotape and doesn't work - this wouldn't have been missed ( she was served by the manager / store owner ) as the cartridge had to be fished out and placed in the box - it was obvious it wasn't likely to work. Not worth taking back & arguing over for 4 quid - but it's a bit grim ripping off a youngster...another game I'm replacing with a working one off eBay.Both my kids have had previous issues with badly scratched PS4 discs.. all replaced with cheaper ones off eBay.I stopped buying here after I picked up a Blu-ray a few years ago, only to get home & find they hadn't actually put the disc in the case.
