Food was amazing, staff very pleasant warm and cosy pub. We came here as it was my partner's 60th Birthday had the 10 oz Gammon with Egg, potato skin chips, slice of fresh Pineapple absolutely beautiful. Came again a couple of days later I had the Lasagne, with chip's, Steve had the chicken tikka masala half rice and chips, well worth the money lovely food, I recommend trying here ..

Top quality homemade food with excellent service!
3 of as visited The Durham OX Pub in Orston on the Thursday,
We are ordered Homemade Beef and onion pie, Homemade Hungarian goulash and the Beautiful Tuna steak from the specials board,
Food was beautiful we are enjoyed every bit of this treat in this beautiful village Pub!
Service was very fast and everything was spot on?

Found this beautiful pub when staying away. Staff were really friendly and a great atmosphere. Food was delicious as was the real ale. So good we went back the next night. If you are in the area don?t miss out and pay them a visit, a warm welcome awaits you.

All round perfect dining experience, we came last week as a couple, this week as a family and we plan to return again next week, we take almost a 2 hour round trip to come to this hidden little gem, the food is delicious and very much everything you could want, the menu has a good variety with a lovely specials board, the waiters can?t do enough for you, the managers are lovely, and the lady behind the bar is excellent at what she does and the gentleman has such a personality it just shines! The place is very clean and well maintained inside and out, with the beer garden being just as cosy as the inside! Overall 10/10

Richard was fabulous serving us and was very attentive to our group of 7. Mains and desserts were beautiful thanks to Rikki in the kitchen. Will definitely be back.

I asked around as I wanted to find the best Sunday roast in the area, and The Durham Ox came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint.
The food was delicious, generous portion of beef, huge Yorkshire pudding, and plenty of veg. And at £15.95 it?s outstanding value.
The service was quick & friendly too. I made the rookie error of not booking, and my heart sank when we walked in at 12 on Sunday to find every table had a reservation. I?d gone on the website and when there wasn?t an option to book, I?d presumed it was ?walk in?. But they do take phone bookings, so do call in advance. We got lucky, they managed to squeeze us in before another party arrived.
It was a perfect place to celebrate my mum?s birthday, thank you! We will be back for more! And hopefully on a dry day so we can enjoy the gorgeous courtyard beer garden!

Great menu we came here for nights limited choice off the special board first night lamb shanks and mash and kidney beans sherry gravy next two had venison pie absolutely fantastic home made mash and peas excellent pub landlord and wife a pleasure to meet not forgetting the beer garden fantastic
