Great steak and chips for a great price! I've not had a bad one yet! Beers are a little overpriced and not the best selection to choose from! Fosters has been swapped to Carlsberg, and Strongbow has been swapped to Somersby, not our favourites!

Had a birthday meal for my father and extended family. No complaints about the food however the yorkshires were a little too big and we're a bit chewy. Food was hot when it arrived and all 12 meals arrived together. All Sunday lunch meals with a mixture of chicken turkey and beef. And a steak and ale pie.

Packed in here Friday lunchtime with people having 3 course meal deal. We didn't want that so had to wait awhile for our food. Food okay but chips could have been hotter. Wouldn't go again on a Friday

Food was awful 2 fillet steaks cold rump steak cold chips not cooked waitors took over an hour to get to us really loud as well absolutely awful compared to previous experiences here complained and manager not really bothered and we were assured we would have a fuss made of us as we came for grandparents 67th wedding anniversary

*A merry Christmas? unless you?re disabled*
I visited Sprinters on Christmas Day with my family, including my elderly grandparents. My grandad is disabled and we made Sprinters aware of this on multiple occasions (at least 4, including once in person when they took payment) and was assured that it was no problem and we would be allocated an accessible table. On the day, we arrived to find we had been allocated a non-accessible table (a booth which had a large step up to it). We asked for another table, and was allocated one in an adjoining room which was only accessible by walking back outside and around the entire building, or down some internal steps. When asked if they expected my elderly disabled grandad to struggle down the steps, staff were unbothered and unhelpful.
With the aid of myself and two others, we managed to get down the steps into the dining room. Whereas the main room was bustling with Christmas music and atmosphere, this room was empty and quiet. There was no atmosphere and it was as if we?d been put in there as an afterthought. There were 5 of us and we were placed on a table for 4, then the staff member started moving the table next to it over to fit us on. Our booking had been made weeks if not months before, so again this felt like an afterthought.
I?ve given Sprinters two stars as the food was good, as we?ve come to expect from Sprinters. The wait times were very long though, and staff didn?t seem confident in what they were serving. I ordered a peach bellini, which arrived in a gin glass (full to the top too, which I normally wouldn?t complain but it suggested that the staff didn?t know what their own menu items are?). We didn?t receive our welcome drinks as stated either, so we had to ask for these to arrive with our desserts.
Unfortunately the service we received means we won?t be returning, especially not for special occasions due to the way they regard disability and their overall customer service. Our table spent over £300 to be there for Christmas and we expected to feel special, however we left feeling like an inconvenience and not festive at all.
If I had been the member of staff expecting a disabled elderly customer to risk his safety how they did, I would be very embarrassed.
Wheelchair accessibility: While the restaurant is wheelchair accessible (via the car park at the back), unfortunately it appears the staff need more training about how to treat those with access needs.

Ate there yesterday and their standards have definitely gone down. Sorry, but the food was not good at all... Portions are much smaller than before (shrinkflation), the steak was TINY and chewy, mostly fat! Very disappointed. No passion fruit punch mocktails either...! The lady serving us was lovely and pleasant though. That is the only good thing I have to say. Needless to say, we will be looking for a new steak restaurant in 2025.

Went for breakfast after it being recommended...very, very disappointed...my bacon was well overcooked, sausage was tasteless and egg yolk was hard. Ordered eggs benedict, it was drowning in so much hollandaise sauce, that you couldn't really taste the food. We will not be returning

Went for Christmas meal with family and friends, it was really nice & service was good .. only thing is it would?ve been good to have the option of 2 courses instead of 3 because of the portion sizes x

Came 18th Nov for beef dinner with my friend and it was Luke warm in fact my mash was cold I did tell the lady but all she did was apologise so I will not be coming again

I've been using sprinters with friends and family for years with mainly good food and service. But this last year they've tweaked menus and have become expensive on normal meals. The deals sound good value but the quality over all meals has dropped. Not even a good sausage now on breakfast. I can get a better quality elsewhere in arnold for alot less. This was our go to place but not anymore . The staff are nice pleasant but are reluctant to do anything when things aren't good. Maybe not their fault so no not be eating there again .

This place as gone down hill so bad.
Food was OK but service was terrible.
Waited ages for food and drinks once your food had arrived service disappeared as well even to the point you are having to chase them for drink orders and even got those wrong.
Was a local here but not anymore
