Little slow sometimes to get served but no fault of staff when the store is busy. Nice clean store (no BO smell) friendly and helpful with plenty of stock. Will definitely use this store again! Recommend!

Honestly the only place I?ll ever buy tech from for my business! These guys are so attentive and patient and know their stuff. I choose this CEX over any other, and also over eBay etc. Been going for years and never let me down - Cheers for everything guys :)

Used to be a huge fan of CEX and have used them for years, but their customer service and valuing the customer is absolutely woeful. I purchased a pair of BOSE headphones for CEX that I only used a handful of times in the 2 weeks since I bought them. After using them for the 4th or 5th time, one of the earpieces broke and part of the earbud broke off (just from ordinary use taking them in and out of my ear). I took them to CEX to ask for an exchange for a voucher or another pair as I was only 2 weeks into my supposed 5 year warranty and neither the store in Arnold or the CEX customer service team are willing to even contemplate the idea of a repair, exchange or voucher. So much for the apparent 5 year warranty. Not worth the paper it's printed on. I will be contacting trading standards and I would seriously encourage anyone to think twice about buying any second hand tech from CEX bearing in mind they are not prepared to honour their so called warranty.

Cex in Arnold town. Nottingham the stall have got a really bad attitudes towards there customers so I will never going go back to cex because it sucks now a trebble place to go

Could be alot better very miserable staff that look unhappy not the best experience you should try smileling it's not the end of the world and the prices you give people for items could be alot better you deal with desperate people and rip them off. Also there should be a big sign saying you get 10 percent of when u spend 200 bit ill tell people for you x

One of the better cex stores staff are very polite, helpful and had great knowledge on the tech there, they were even going out of thier way to help difficult customers. The store itself was tidy and actually pretty organized and as always well stocked with wide verity of products

Apathetic staff who will sell you damaged goods as mint condition. Don?t come here to buy anything. If you have to, buy it online. Don't recommend going in store.
Went to Arnold especially to get a ?Grade A - Mint condition? phone. I thought the phone was a bit dirty or had some stubborn goop on it. I did say this out loud but was not corrected with the assumption by the staff serving me. Come to find out when I get home that the edge around the lens was scratched up and indented. We showed a different shop this, and they all agreed that it should have been marked a B grade.
They didn?t respond to any phone calls - not from the Vic centre branch or from a personal phone to discuss the problem. So I had to travel out once again to Arnold to discuss the issue. Come to find out that the store was completely empty with 4 members of staff doing basically nothing. How 4 separate people in an empty store on a Thursday afternoon missed 2 phone calls is beyond me.
The person who served us previously acted like we were invisible as did the manager on shift. They spoke between themselves and admitted that there was a £70 difference between A grade and B grade. I was given a £25 refund and a screen protector.
I was definitely mislead by apathetic staff across the board at this shop. I really should have made my case for getting the full £70 difference back. Honestly, I was just so frustrated with how rude and unapologetic everyone was. I get that people have bad days, but to see them giggling and flirting with each other behind the counter while they caused the whole problem in the first place was weird and inappropriate at best.
I understand that my situation was complicated and must have been equally frustrating leading up to it. Me and my partner apologised profusely as we were trying to figure out what to do. However, it really doesn?t excuse the lack of customer service or ripping people off by giving the wrong grade for phones and not making it up to people properly, or at bare minimum apologising. They knew I had to travel across the whole city just to get there, which is over two hours round trip two times!!
Being arsey and not caring about your job to the point that customers are too frustrated to deal with you is not adequate service in the slightest, and puts a stain on the whole company.
