Today I Went to collect a prescription for my son, there was just one lady at the counter being served she was with the staff for about 15mins and a cue was beginning to form behind me, I didn?t grumble or complain as I know it can be difficult to get medication sorted. Another member of staff came to the counter from behind the screen to serve me her name was Nina and she was incredibly rude! She asked for my son?s name and when I told her she pulled an awful face then rolled her eyes.
This was hurtful, uncalled for and down right prejudice of my heritage. She proceeded to be awkward and unhelpful with regards to repeat prescription ordering and I actually didn?t know what to do except exit the store.
I had wanted to ask the pharmacy for advice too about a health problem but after this I didn?t feel comfortable and left without getting the help I needed.
Boots this member of staff clearly shouldn?t be around people especially if you have a different or unique name it was blatantly obvious she didn?t want to serve me.

This store has really gone downhill. The staff couldn't muster up a smile between them. Customer service is appalling. I avoid at all costs now as the amount of time I've spent queuing and the staff don't seem to care

Just served by an old woman, says on the receipt, she goes by the name, Nita. She was instructing me to remove my advantage card and as I know how to read, I knew when to pull it out. Then I said, "card please" and what I got was a nasty, "Pardon?!?" Like I had insulted her, was it my tattoo? Does she think I'm Jewish? So I repeated, "Card please" and she then almost threw the receipt on the counter rather than hand it to me. So I walked off and exclaimed, " shocking customer service." As I was with my daughter I did not want to cause a scene, but after leaving I knew I had to complain and tried ringing the store but no one answered so I'm on here leaving a review, which used to be 5 stars but now isn't so well done, Nita! I will be emailing you also because no-one who works in customer service should ever make anyone feel bad enough to complain because she was perfectly polite to the woman in front of me.

I have been with Boots Arnold Pharmacy for six years. I am a very kind caring gentleman who has a lot of respect for people. I suffer from a lot Physical and Mental Health conditions which limits my capacity to do things. I was very upset and distressed with the abrupt, rude behaviour I received from the staff who work in the DDS Room, over the telephone. I kindly and politely asked when my medications would be due. I asked if I could have my medication delivered to my house as I was feeling poorly on the day I was due to collect my medications from the Pharmacy. She explained to me in a rude way, I would need to pay for delivery, which I was very happy to do, but she slammed the phone down on me. I thought about this incident and it moved me to tears, as I am not used to people speaking to me in that kind of unprofessional manner. Therefore I decided to phone back and explained I have nominated a new pharmacist. The lady said abruptly would you like your Blister Packs. I said no thank you and she rudely said we will have to unpack them all. As an NHS Patient I couldn't believe how I was treated. I was so upset that I had to visit my Doctor's Surgery to explain what had happened. I just broke down in tears in front of the receptionist.I would like to say thank you to all the staff at Boots for their support to me, but I have decided to change pharmacist.

What a dire experience. Having to queue for ages to collect medication & then they have'nt got around to sorting it out.
It's not the customers fault Boots don't employ enough staff.
Just moved there because Boots in Sherwood is closing so I can only imagine service will get much worse.
I will be moving to another pharmacy after experiencing such a dreadful service.
