Quite terrible in every way, 1980?s social club vibe, projection screen was really poor quality not really watchable for the match. Food was appalling, scampi not cooked properly and fish was dry and barely any batter, bread was solid as a rock! Didn?t bother to complain as not worth the aggro, the place is so far gone they could not have sorted it.

A great place for honest food and service if your in Wooler and need a bite to eat or something to drink and don't want to be charged for the added décor or overly complicated menu head here. The staff were fab and the food tasted great.Vegetarian options: There were veggy options

Called in for a coffee, very friendly and helpful staff, surprised how big inside was, swimming pool, arcade and concert room just off the bar area, they cater for a camp site, but was quiet as end of season.

We stayed in a wheelchair-access caravan, which was perfect, in a very quiet area. Had something to eat in the Riverside Restaurant, which was very good. If we ever come this way again, we'll stay here.

The camp itself is immaculate, well kept and the caravans are lovely, the issues lie with the entertainment venue. Upon arriving for a bankholiday weekend we arrived at the entertainment venue at 8.45 only to be told the bar and venue has called last orders and was about to close. This was a Friday bank holiday! As more people arrived they were refused service? Eventually as more people arrived the bar staff re opened the bar, as for entertainment on a Friday bank holiday there was none. On the Sunday after having a meal and drinks in the venue at around 9pm we were handed paper cups and told to decant our drinks into the cups and leave the venue. At this point around 9pm the lights we switched off and we were left to sit in the dark! I had to ask the staff to turn the lights back on to use the toilets. After coming to the camp for many years we feel the lack of entertainment or commitment to the customers was clearly lacking, this was also the case the previous visit although we thought we woukd give the camp another opertunity. Unfortunately we were wrong to do so as nothing had changed. If this is what it's like on a bank holiday weekend id be very causias of going during a quite period. We will probably not return in the near future until the entertainment and venue issues improve.

Went to the Swimming Pool located through the Arcade the process was easy and hassle free . After swimming myself and my nephew decided to get some food . The most amazing chicken wings ever my nephew couldn't get enough. Staff were amazing nothing was too much to ask for . Would definitely recommend fun for all the family and a little gem in the loveliest place Wooler.

Arrived and was given pitch 16, the furthest pitch away yet I emailed to ask for a pitch near the amenities as disabled. Once on pitch I photographed 10 lots of mess (dog) they tried to tell me it was the ducks, but it wasn?t?.and why was it only on my pitch. Litter also on pitch. Rand reception and someone came and cleaned it. Decided to try the restaurant, ordered Sausage and mash, waited 30 minutes then it arrived dry and as hard as anything. Sent back, bar staff was lovely, says it?s not normally like that but they have a trainee chef. Waited 45 minutes for new meal to arrive, wasn?t much better. The mash was still very dry so I?m guessing it was powdered. The gravy still had lumps of granules not whisked proper. Decided to cut my losses and just ate the sausage. Toilets for campers needs looking at and cleaning, was in awful state. Certainly won?t be using them on my stay. Also the restaurant, entertainment and swimming pool are advertised as on site, they are not. It was a walk and then cross a busy main road on a tight bend. Not safe for me on crutches. Very very disappointing so far and I have another 4 days

Had a brilliant week at Riverside. It?s a lovely clean and spacious park. The staff are friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Scott (complex manager). Emily, Emily and Jodie (Ents team) for their boundless energy and great shows. Tip: ask for an entertainment programme when you arrive, unsure why it?s not included in the welcome pack?

9 nights on a touring pitch. Overall ok. quite cramped pitches even if you have a large pitch like we had. No fully serviced pitches but water points plentiful. Bins are only at the entrance which is annoying for such a massive site. Touring facilities ok regards pot wash area and washing machines. Personal wash facilities are well in need of updating and very dirty. Don't think cleaners ever lift the mats on the floors in the showers, they were disgusting. The showers are also very small with no dressing area without getting everything wet. As for entertainment and food at the so called bar and grill I'd give it a miss unless you love undercooked microwave meals. Go to a pub up in wooler if you can get in any. Think the whole site goes so busy. Although the holiday was ok I wouldn't visit again or recommend.

We arrived for a week long stay and stayed in the Sage 2 static caravan. Travelled with our two children (12 & 11). Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly lady on reception. When we arrived at our caravan we were impressed with the location, appearance and space inside. The little welcome box of goodies is a super nice touch. We also had a friendly security chap come and check we were settled in ok and whether we needed anything. Again, a nice touch. The location is perfect! We visited Bamburgh Castle/Beach, Alnwick Castle, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Seahouses and Coldstream. Honestly there was so much to do and see. We couldn?t have picked a better location. The park itself is beautiful, our children loved a paddle in the stream, loved the park and we loved the local ducks that would waddle outside our caravan each day. We wanted to use the washing/dryer facilities but at £8 for both, we found this quite steep. We didn?t use the swimming pool but did unfortunately use the Riverside Restaurant. The food was foul. I sent my mac n cheese straight back and got a refund. Save your money and pop to the local shop for a ready meal. Seriously. But overall we had an absolutely fantastic week here. We wouldn?t return, not because of anything in particular, we just like to explore. But you won?t be disappointed if you come here for a holiday. We loved every minute!

The Static Caravan we stayed in was very good, and it appeared we were in one of the newer areas of the park. The park seemed clean, well ran and nice to have the wildlife! My only real complaint is the swimming pool, it needs a rethink from Management on how it?s ran and operates. We went on 3 occasions during our week long stay, none were without issue. On the final visit our little girls were so unhappy they asked to leave early and were frightened! The main problem is the small size of the pool and too many people, this leads to overcrowding, and makes for an un enjoyable visit. Our 2 girls l actually wanted to use the pool to swim, they are sensitive and don?t like splashing or excessive noise. During our visits we were plagued by people constantly jumping into the pool causing huge splashing, being hit on the head by constant ball games, coupled with general loudness. I appreciate people want to do these things on holiday - but not EVERYONE DOES! There are posters around the pool showing someone jumping-in and wording below ?No Bombing? - so why isn?t this stopped?! I think less people should be allowed into these sessions, rules should be enforced, and ?quiet-sessions? should be introduced for people who actually want to use the pool for swimming, and not being subjected to being hit by balls and water-bombing! On a separate note there was no wifi or phone signal inside the van on our pitch but this wasn?t too much of an issue as we got a weak signal once outside.
