We went for a celebratory meal and every single one of our 7 people group had delicious startes, mains and desserts. The chef/s made the most delicious meals and the serving staff were the right mix of beimg attentive whilst leaving us to enjoy our own company. Superb meal. Would heartily recommend this place for an evening meal.

A gem this one. I stumbled across this pub after a visit to the Duddo stones. The service was positive and helpful and the food was delicious! If your visiting attractions in the area this is a great place to eat.

This is our 3rd visit in 2 weeks and we have been so impressed with the menu, staff,quality of food and just general hospitality. Sunday lunch is delicious and tonight we had garlic mushrooms which I know sounds boring but it was really good. The seafood crock is truly amazing so thumbs up to the chef. we can definitely recommend this gem of a place for what ever occasion?. now home for a sleep , thank you red lion we will be back soon ?

The best Sunday lunch we?ve had out in a long long time, delicious pork and beef and all the trimmings as good as you can have, with broccoli cheese, braised red cabbage, carrot and swede mash, and incredible roast potatoes. Sticky toffee pudding also incredible. Great portions. Highly recommend!

Had yet another amazing meal at the red lion yesterday the braised lamb suet pie was outstanding .
The staff are so welcoming and the atmosphere is so inclusive
I have no hesitation in recommending this pub for a meal or just a drink

Lunch. Extremely nice & nicely different from most local pub lunches. Wife polished off the linguini & loved it. My chicken breast was beautifully tenderised, but it was a lot, so half taken away in a doggy bag to add to pasta for dinner. Very friendly service, very dog friendly. Will definitely be back.

Lovely little pub in a great location for exploring north Northumberland. Good selection of beers, Sunday roast was generous, tasty and well cooked and the sticky toffee was delicious and a good size. The server was very friendly and welcoming.
