Really comfy. Good food. Good service. Really clean and fresh. Use it's postcode DH89LX to know you're in the area cos it's lower than road level. Watch for Derwentwater signage and it's there as you turn off the A68. Northumberland CC doesn't permit roadside advertising. Got stranded due to snow and, although they had no rooms, the staff took the time to phone around and find me somewhere to stay. Very very grateful!

Attended Lesley and Kevin's lovely wedding on 20th January 2024 and was so impressed at the way the staff went out of their way to make sure the event went without a hitch from start to finish.Knowing the layout of the building, I was interested to know how things would be managed as it is split into 4 areas. As it happened, both the afternoon reception and evening party couldn't have been planned any better, catering for a sit down 3 course meal (which was top notch) in the restaurant, later replaced by a disco/karaoke and dancing plus quieter rooms to enable conversation and catching up with family and friends.All in all, it was a superb wedding venue with excellent staff, exceptional food and brilliant service. Would definitely recommend. Congratulations and thanks again to the bride and groom xxFood & drinks: Delicious, well cooked and presented food.

What a pub! Gorgeous cosy pub, great drinks and food. They're absolutely class, service was spot on, the lovely ladies behind the bar are what makes the place. Other than the owners who are both amazing people. Hats off to the chef, five star review alone for Davies gravy!

What can I say about this place other than they all way go above and beyond and nothing is ever a problem. We booked Christmas lunch for 11 of the family 1 vegetarian 1 gluten free and 2 fussy eaters yet everything was spot on. The dining room was full and was only 2 chefs on. The bar staff were ran off their feet yet all with a smile on their faces. We have been so many times and love the atmosphere and hospitality we always keep coming back. We will see yous again soon

First time visiting and won't be the last. Superb Sunday lunch with melt in the mouth lamb and beef and loads of lovely gravyPuddings were nice too. Great value for money.

We spent a wonderful 3 nights at The Manor House Inn. The food was excellent, we had dinner and breakfast and It was first class each day. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff and management were lovely and welcoming, we had our wedding anniversary whilst we were there and they made it very special indeed. We will definitely recommend this Inn to family and friends.

Premier league pushing top 6 Euro spot kinda joint. Wonderful food - varied menu and fresh ingredients, v friendly service. Really pleased we stopped in for a quick half and lunch. Highly recommend!
