Bit busy August we went. Food good. One complaint. Fish chips and TINNED mushy peas? That's a no no!

Ideally located in the quaint village of Beadnell situated on the beautiful Northumberland coast. Rustic, stone building with accommodation, bar, restaurant and large sheltered beer garden with ample seating. Friendly and efficient staff providing a varied selection of homemade foods sourced with local ingredients and a vast selection of drinks to suit everyone?s requirements. A regular favourite for us and perfect after walks on the beach.

Visited last night ( Saturday) as a party of eight plus one Beagle. Pre booked a garden pod with heater and table service. Live music in the garden and although it was very busy the staff did a remarkable job and were friendly and efficient as always. Food was up to the usual excellent standard. We have been regular visitors for years and have never been disappointed. Please don?t miss out on this fab venue when you?re in the area ( but don?t tell anyone else ?).

Barry convinced me to come down for Sunday Lunch as he was on a date with a new lass Belinda. Didn't feel like a 3rd wheel as the staff were lovely and I had a go on the fruity. Barry and Belinda met at weight watchers and we were celebrating Belinda losing 2kg (she used the infamous tomato method, I'm sure you are aware of it). The portions were absolutely huge, I'm fairly sure Belinda put those 2kg back on in one meal! We all went for the pork Sunday roast and they gave us loads of meat. Barry said it was the most meat he had eaten since his early tip off in November 1997 before you know what! Definitely worth a visit if you are a big eater. Will visit again.

Had a lovely meal with excellent service and only a couple of minor points to keep it from a five star (would be 4.5 if that were possible). Yorkshire Pudding on the one Sunday roast dinner was very hard and a banana split dessert had banana chips that tasted of garlic, apart from these minor issues the food was very good and in well judged portion sizes to leave you feeling satisfied.

Visited today for dinner. Was an interesting experience. The food is on the expensive side for what it is. I had the sausage and mash with a random name and the sausage was dry and the pea shoots just weird and not in keeping with the dish. The mushroom Wellington was odd. The burger was pretty good. What really let it down was the service. We were in the garden. And had to go to the bar to order more drinks. Despite the waiter insisting we wait for table service. Same with bill gave up waiting to pay the waiter and went inside and settled up. Won't be back.

Craster Arms ? A Must-Visit in Beadnell
We had a fantastic visit to the Craster Arms during our stay in Beadnell. The food was excellent ? hearty portions, well cooked, and full of flavour. Whether you?re after a casual bite or something more substantial, there?s plenty of choice on the menu.
The beer garden is a real highlight ? spacious, well-kept, and a perfect spot to relax on a sunny day. It?s also dog-friendly both inside and out, which made it even more enjoyable for us.
They offer a great selection of drinks too ? from local ales and lagers to a well-stocked range of spirits and gins. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed.
We?ll definitely be returning next time we?re in the area ? highly recommended.
