We stayed at this lovely Inn for a few days. The room was nice and airy with a balcony giving you a lovely view across the harbour. It did have a very creaky floor which meant that we woke each other up going to the loo in the middle of the night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast had everything from a full English to tea and toast. We had one evening meal here and were rather disappointed with the menu. I had a mussels dish, the mussels were plentiful but very small, I've had bigger winkles! Hubby had lambs liver on a bed of mash - nothing else, no veg, nothing. The meals weren't cheap and didn't live up to the cost. However, there are plenty of other places to eat in Seahouses. The Inn is a lovely place to base yourself whilst visiting the area, just a bit of a disappointment with the food. There were a lot of dogs staying there (with their owners), okay if you like dogs.

Really enjoyed our visit to this Tardis like hotel. Had no idea how large the inside and outside bar area is. The central bar has seating 360° round it. Had two excellent real ales from Alnwick brewery. Tried both. Great views of the harbour, sea and Farne Islands. Had a ham and pease pudding Stottie cake and chips for £10. Ic and Flic loved their extended visit.

Great pace to stay. Drink and eat. Everything is on your door step. The inn boasts beautiful scenery of the farne islands. The best beaches in the UK are a 5 minute walk away. Enjoy and thank me later. You will not be

Had a great meal with family and the service was excellent. My 18mth old boy was doing circuits round the whole bar area because he likes exploring his surroundings, the staff were so good about this, and one of the waitresses started playing with him, allowing him to chase her and hiding from him, he loved absolutely this! A nice evening out!

Rooms are nice, very clean, reasonable quality. We stayed in 21 which has a balcony overlooking the sea which is lovely. Little things could improve such as hairdryer cord no flexible enough to stretch from socket to dressing table. Water in rooms would be nice, no light above the dressing table mirror.Food & drinks: Food is overpriced for the quality. £18 for a burger and fries and not even a hint of side salad, literally a burger on a plate with a cup of chips. Not great choice on the emu for plain eaters like myself.

Friendly staff. Food great. But walls very thin and very noisy. Could follow conversation room next door was having on phone, and also could hear zip on suitcase being done up. So bare in mind if your a light sleeper.
