I'm always pleased to have places recommended. We've been told many times by friends to visit Lewis's when we are dining in Seahouses.It is more pleasing to find the recommendations are spot on.We visited Lewis's for a late tea. The rustic decor adds to the atmosphere.Service was warm and friendly. Our meal order was soon taken and the drinks we ordered were quickly in front of us.The meal was served in a reasonable time. Pleasing to know the meal was being cooked fresh.The fish and chips were the very best and we both enjoyed them very much.So as this recommendation goes, thanks for the tip.Thank you Lewis's for upholding the expectation.

We went for supper and were shown to a seat on arrival. Our orders were taken quickly and drinks followed promptly. We were served with freshly cooked haddock and cod and chips. The meals did not disappoint and were delicious. Would highly recommend.

Ok so we decided to pop over to Seahouses and grab a cheeky fish and chip supper?. Found Lewis?s on Main Street which was an absolute delight. Perfectly cooked Cod and Haddock, lovely crispy batter? beautiful thick fillets? and the chips? just like they used to be when I was a lad?perfect all around?.. not over priced either considering challenges around fish prices ?. High recommended ?..Parking: Just by the lifeboat station?

Certainly, it's one of the best chippies in the North East. Food is always quality regardless if its eat in or take away.

Ordered haddock and chips and battered sausage and chips. Batter was very soggy and not crisp chips were cold and greasy, fish was flavourless and battered sausage okay but batter was soggy.
