The building is lovely, interior nicely done, mind your head on the way in if 6ft tall. Service was great friendly lady, quickly seated & served for lunch. Was disappointed in the food, just had a marghertia pizza which was quite underwhelming. Sauce was nice but over powered the cheese, I did like the concept of cutting your own pizza with the roller but on a single table the wooden slab was sliding around. I would come back to try somthing else then maybe will update review. Couldn't beat the price for a lunch meal.

Visited on the 12th August 2025. What a lovely restaurant. We hadn't booked and It was very busy when we arrived ( always a good sign). A very pleasant welcome and a table was found for us. Others arriving just after us weren't so lucky.
The food was really good and tasty, portions were generous and the prices were almost on the cheap side, certainly very good value.
Excellent friendly service from all the staff. What more could you want?

A little bit of Italy in Rothbury. We were walk-ins and they took us without fuss. A good family restaurant. A nice atmosphere and good food.

while on holiday in swarland looking for dog friendly restaurants that wernt pubs .what a find we were made so welcome including the dog who got big fuss off the staff who wer all realy nice..the food wer spot on we both got garlic mushrooms for starter perfect portion size fantastic flavour and steak calazone .. absolutely one of the best calazone we've had..it gets realy busy even on a week day so try book before.... loved the decor too will visit again when in the area
