Hopeless! You queue for a while to be seen and there is always a queue. This week I was queuing with 2 year old which is difficult at best times. Told be 15 minutes so we went away then went back . Queued again for a while to then be told not in stock and needs to be ordered. This cost me an ice cream and coffee where I could have gone home. Told be in next day. Rings today at 130pm to be told dont know they haven't unpacked stick and I'll get a text message telling me when its ready. Explained I've none left after tomorrow. Reassured she checks my number and she'll text. No text by 415pm so ring again to be told yes its there! Does anyone ever get a text off them I never have! Id have just got prescription off gp had i known. Only pharmacy now in Prudhoe and they can't cope with the demand!

Never been here when it's not busy. Now the only pharmacy in a large town and a small shop.

The staff are absolutely lovely! But Boots as a company you need to get more employees or a better system as they are rushed off their feet and the wait is sometimes unacceptable

It's often really busy with long queues and usually only one member of staff serving. Despite being frustrating at times the staff seem really nice and are doing a good job under pressure.

Every visit is a total nightmare. NEVER fails to disappoint with slow staff, long queues and unhelpful attitudes in abundance. Lost scripts, out of stock items, staff who hide out of sight to avoid having to have public contact....sadly cannot leave 0 stars.

Staff I've dealt with are friendly and helpful, however they are rushed off their feet. There is only one person on the till who has to deal with enquiries, prescriptions and the odd person who stays in the queue long enough to buy something from the depleted shelves. Store is a dirty mess, looks like it was last refurbed in the 90's, the forlorn till near the door has probably not seen a member of staff or customer in a decade! Having too few staff is bad management by Boots, if they had 2-3 staff serving and more stock, people might go in to buy things rather than just using the place for prescriptions. Very poor.

The shop gets a bad rep due to the wait times, but as someone who has several health issues and therefore has been to a LOT of pharmacies, the queues are pretty standard, if not better than many other pharmacies. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They've been thrown into having the other busy pharmacy in town shut down, pretty much doubling their workload, and are performing admirably as a result.

Messy shop. Long queue perhaps as one member of staff needed help with every task. Perhaps short staffed? Other member of staff very pleasant

Mostly there is a queue which covers everything so no specific area for prescriptions. One member of staff was quite unpleasant to me today as I was just going to leave a prescription on the counter as there was a long queue and was informed in no uncertain terms that I couldn't do that as other people who were waiting in front of me might be wantingto hand in their scripts××!! She didn't give me a chance to say I would call back in the next few days to pick it up. Could we not have a box on the counter to just drop our prescriptions in please?. There doesn't seem to be enough staff to cover the shop floor as normally there's only one serving.

Long queues often. Staff try hard but due to shortage of them creates problems. Have to return for medication due to it not being ready.Boots now focuses on profit rather than customer service.Since the American takeover years ago there has been a steady deterioration which is due to Company philosophy rather than diligent staff.

This pharmacy is the most badly organised and chaotic business I have ever encountered. Poorly customers regularly queue for thirty minutes or longer, in the hope of receiving their prescription.Prescriptions go missing with monotonous regularity and the staff couldn't care less.It should be closed down so Prudhoe could have an efficient little chemists shop, like Wylam.

Very poor service by a member of staff, told by gp to wait for a perscription for an infant yet closed the store. absolutely outrageous
