Collected a takeaway tonight. Meal was ready when arrived, staff were very friendly and polite, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Cool on atmosphere, massive on flavour.
Had a quiet Thursday night dinner. I Wasn?t expecting such a pleasant surprise.
Lamb chop starter was delicate and warmly spicy and tender.
Paneer main course was banging too.
The service is excellent and also the food is great value for ££.

One of the best Indian restaurant experiences I?ve had. We went for an order totally different to what we would normally go for and every part of the banquet meal at £34 was fantastic. The starter sharing platter was exquisite and extremely tasty - the flavours were amazing. We went for the slow cooked chicken and the biryani which came with breads and Indian black beans. It was all extremely tasty - some of the best flavours at an Indian restaurant and the management checked in to make sure everything was satisfactory - a nice touch to the experience. Our food for 2 of the signature set menu, 2 wines, 1 cola and a peppermint tea came to £98 which included a 10% service charge - I didn?t think this was too bad especially given the care and attention that went into the knowledge of the menu when asked - and then the quality and flavours of the food. Fantastic place! We visited from Durham when picking up family from the airport and will be back!

Every time we visit Haveli we are never disappointed. Last night the staff were all welcoming, attentive and efficient. The food was delicious...perhaps a little more spice than usual but it did not affect our enjoyment. A top class restaurant with reasonable prices. Thank you!

What a beautiful meal we all had , the food was exceptional, cocktails the best in ponteland by far. My only niggle was we where given the bill without asking for it & we had not long finished our meal , two of us wanted a desert so we asked for the desert menu the bill was taken added too and put back on the table before the desserts arrived .no coffee offered . If they have set time lines then they need to host there tables more efficiently to accommodate desert & coffee . Apart from that it was amazing.

Good food but requested a taxi at the end of the meal and was told to book one myself or I would be charged.

Last time we visited we and a baby shower were the only tables in. The staff sat us right next to their photo table so we were trying to eat with people queuing around our table for pics. Nothing was done nor said to stop it and we spend £300 roughly when in.
So we tried takeaway today despite a last occasion it being late and cold. What do you know- it was late and only just warm with some dishes cold again. For an order that is a few hundred pounds and the third bad experience we will not be back. I even called to check it would not arrive cold again and was told they do not send cold or late food - despite speaking to them after food should have been here!
The food is amazing but the service for both delivery and eating in is really poor for the calibre of restaurant it is. You do not mind a cold McDonalds as it is a few pound but this is different.
This restaurant is in trouble if a decent competitor opens with even half the service as it really does not take much to beat that department.
It is a shame as it is usually our go to and I agree with a review from a few days ago that it has massively changed over the last few months

Went for the fist time with group of friends. Food was absolutely delicious, starters were really good portion and delicious, Lamb curry was so tender and perfectly spiced, best I?ve had in a very long time. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff definitely recommend.

First time eating at this restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful , the surroundings were immaculate, and the food was outstanding . The best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten in . We will be back.
The lamb chops are a must have very tender snd succulent.

The food at Haveli is really really good and although Michelin is mentioned it?s not Michelin prices. The only thing is that it seems to be a best kept secret and it?s often very quiet which is a shame given the food is excellent. Go, you won?t be disappointed. Parking outside is free and it?s a great location if you just want a good Indian meal. We had the 5 course meal for 39.95 per person and it?s excellent value, no stinting on portions and genuine enquiries as to the taste and flavour.
Vegetarian options: I?m not vegetarian but I did notice a decent proportion of offerings.
Parking: The restaurant is located on a local parade of shops with dedicated parking.

Just returned home from our 1st visit to Haveli and we were very impressed. The food was delicious, the service was very excellent and the atmosphere was good.
We will definitely be returning!

Went there a few weeks back with a group of friends. Everything was great - the space and decor, the welcoming nature of the staff, choice and quality of food and drinks, the speed of service. Our experience couldn't have been better. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a good (actually great) restaurant in Newcastle area.

Recently dined at Haveli Ponteland and enjoyed every dish we had in particular the starter Burra lamb chops, absolutely tender lamb with authentic Indian herbs, simply delicious. Great service with attention to detail on presentation yet serving mouthwatering tasty food. We will be returning very soon
