This place has been one to tick off on the bucket list and it didn?t disappoint. Lovely atmosphere, spotlessly clean,very warm welcoming staff and fantastic food and beverages. Will definitely be back!

Nice place didn't have food as had already eaten elsewhere but food being served looked ok and plenty of diners in so must of been ok, drinks a bit expensive as the restaurant I'd eaten in across the road was cheaper for their drinks but clean tidy and pleasant staff and dog friendly

Parking: At one time you could have go to Ponteland have a few in the Blackbird leave your car overnight . Not any more there are signs up . You also must register your car on a tablet near the main entrance .

Excellent stop at place yesterday for a quick bite to eat and a drink. The turkey toastie was very well stuffed with a generous portion and the chips were nicely done as well. The service is always prompt and attentive and the prices are very reasonable. We easily found a table and enjoyed our time there.
The toilets are clean with warm water and powerful dryer. Ample parking and easily accessible.

The food was absolutely lovely, and our server was fantastic. However, towards the end of our meal, we felt rushed to vacate our table, which soured the experience slightly. We had booked in advance and even arrived early, so it felt unnecessary. The situation might have been avoided if orders had been taken or food had arrived more promptly, as we could have finished within the allotted time.
To their credit, they offered us a table downstairs and assured us they weren?t trying to kick us out, but it still felt like the timing wasn?t managed well. It?s a shame, as we hadn?t even reached the two-hour limit for our reservation when we were asked to move. Overall, while the food and service were great, this aspect could have been handled better.

Simply excellent the meal was lovely and the staff were first class. Nine family members attended my wife?s birthday dinner and no complaints from any of them, the staff bringing a cake in and singing happy birthday made it special for her. Highly recommend.

We were lucky to get a table for two with no booking. It was a Monday so that maybe helped.
The food was excellent. We went for fish and chips for main course - it all felt fresh and very tasty.
The starters were particularly good. I had the Parma Ham and Melon and I can safely say it's the best presentation and, with the mix of melons, best taste I've ever had. My husband had the crispy Asian beef salad and had been raving about it since.
Dietary restrictions: They had a separate menu for my dairy intolerance - very helpful.

Lovely Pre-Airport evening meal, sat in The Tunnel Room. Fish and Chips x 2 and the house burger.
All cooked well accompanied by good service.
Worth the extra mile or so from the Airport for some good food and service!
