We ate here on Friday, it's very welcoming, with friendly staff. We had the pizza and it was the best we have ever had. We also had 2 very picky eaters (grandchildren) who cleared their plates too. The chocolate brownie was heaven. 5 stars from us ✨️
New owners took over The Star Inn in Harbottle in August 2019 and have been refurbishing the pub and its outbuildings with most of the work now completed.
The pub serves great food including wood-fired pizzas and a wide range of Chef’s Specials from the grill. It has real ales, a good selection of wine, hot drinks and home made cakes and desserts. There is also a small village shop with tourist information and newsagency at the rear. There are three guest bedrooms at the pub and a self catering holiday cottage in the village.
