We were staying nearby so came for a family meal. The food was out of this world delicious. Staff all super friendly and made a really wonderful atmosphere. Very affordable prices. We can't wait to come back!

I'm often disappointed with Italian restaurants, as I have Italian heritage, and home cooked Italian food always surpassed restaurants. However I was very pleasantly surprised to find the food here excellent. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Excellent meal! Really good pizzas and rich, meaty lasagne. Children's pizza was substantial and price included ice cream. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The actual restaurant is upstairs, so don't be put off by the grotty entrance. A meal for 4 of us, with drinks and 3 desserts was £61, which is amazing value. They also do a 3 course special menu for £14.95. If I didn't live 240 miles away I'd be in here every week!

Excellent authentic italian food, all freshly cooked and plentiful. The mussels were fabulous and although billed as a starter were enough for a main. There was no quibble with asking for half portions of pasta dishes for the ladies. Great prices too, definitely a find!

I cannot rate the staff highly enough. What wonderful people. We had Francis a cheerful soul who just makes you feel better. As a coeliac I have to be very careful and he double checked everything. Made sure the other staff knew and couldn't have looked after us better.
My hubby had a stake with blue cheese sauce. It was massive and he managed with plenty of yums a licking of lips. I had a carbonara which was a surprise but they stock GF pasta, so all good. Although stuffed from our main courses we both had pudding. The panacotta was delightful and he cleared the tiramisu.
It's a gem that you should come and visit. The only mild irritation is the club downstairs were setting up their music for evening entertainment and it vibrates on the floor.

In weekdays very chip fix menu and delicious. We had funghi pizza, pasta bolognase, calamari, skin patato and minestrone soup. All of them are amazing considering the price. Icecream not perfect but even you will give it a chance. Thank you!

Our first time at this superb restaurant...and we will be using it on a regular basis...we managed to park right outside the front door and after climbing over a couple of push bikes lying in the doorway we were met by 2 flights of stairs. Not a problem.... There is a chair lift. So all good there.
Staff were great, very polite and friendly. The food...my goodness.. absolutely first class, delicious. well done chef. They also do a Christmas menu which you need to book. We will be doing that. The prices are very competitive...if it was my restaurant you would be paying more..The only thing that let it down was that my plate was not warm or hot ... but I'm a fast eater so it was ok. But next time I will ask for a hot plate.
So if you haven't been to this restaurant you are missing out big time. If top quality food is your thing..this is the place for you.?
