We visited this in June of this year and I have to say it?s one of the most dirtiest stores I have been in. The shelving is disgustingly dirty and food is out of date. It is not been checked. Staff appear unbothered
I was told by head office that they were sending somebody to go and check on the little shop and I?m hoping that somebody did and that they have made a difference because when it comes to cleaning the staff just simply don?t know how to do it here

I visited these guys whilst staying nearby.I was having issues finding my clubcard number on the website but Eileen, a member of staff, kindly helped me out & recommended I download the app.She really went out of her way to help & is a credit to Tesco - thanks Eileen.

I wouldn?t recommend getting your parcels delivered here.
Just drove from Shilbottle to collect mine after to email to state it was there. Woman behind the till took my name and first line of my address but came out saying it wasn?t there.
I showed her the emails and said maybe it was in my maiden name so asked if she?d check again. Came back out, nope. There?s only one next parcel there and it?s for someone in Alnwick she said.
So rang next, they insisted it was there. Went back in and found another member of staff. Told them the exact same info and within less then a minute they came out with my parcel.
The name I had given in CAPITALS and the address I had given her, SHILBOTTLE, ALNWICK on the bottom. Not even an apology or a slight look that she was remotely bothered. I was about to drive home and the parcel would have been returned (which is for my little girls birthday). Training needed clearly. Some people can?t be bothered to do their job ??

Average, standard Tesco express decent range, reasonable prices, convenient opening times. Parking just behind. A little tight down the aisles for wheelchairs staff either really good or really poor.

went to Amble Tesco express today at 08.30 to find notice on door back in half an hour it was shut due to lack of staff and a delivery one member of staff only in the time I waited 22 people came and left moaning come on Tesco sort yourself out

A well stocked store and well organized due to Covid-19. Prices and generally reasonable. Staff are helpful and friendly.
