We had an excellent all round experience in this branch recently. My husband has dementia and it can be extremely tricky trying to do certain necessary jobs. We called into branch to amend a direct debit. The lady behind the counter was so helpful and suggested we look at our current account which was changing soon. Paul was brilliant with his efforts to help us get our account changed and advised us on a saver which had a really good interest rate. We ran over closing time,but it didn't bother him at all. He even gave us great advice on a nearby nice eatery for our tea! And it was lovely!
My only disappointment with Santander is the closing of the Metro Centre branch which was so convenient for us. We'll take trips to Morpeth instead when necessary, although I do use internet banking.
Thank you Paul and your staff. Fabulous service for us.

Had a fantastic experience and love this branch. Hillary worked with me patiently and was so pleasant, nothing was too much trouble for her. I felt unwell while standing at the counter and I was treated so kindly and offered water and even shortbread biscuits as almost fainted. I couldn't speak more highly about what a pleasant experience it is visiting this branch and the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff is outstanding.
