TL:DRAvoid if you don?t need the stress of chasing and chasing (and being ignored).- We?re still missing a worktop - 16 months after the kitchen was fitted.- It took over 12 months to supply a missing doorknob.- Phone calls, messages with staff, texts and emails are not returned.Pol Kefton supplied and fitted our kitchen in Aug ?20. They did a great job, in general, but forgot to build a pantry will sliding doors and fit a worktop as specified. Instead, it was just a cupboard.Several weeks later they retro fitted the sliding doors but the job was poor and the door mechanism scratched the doors. The worktop for inside the pantry was still on order - we?d need to wait for that. We?d also need to wait for a missing doorknob. They didn?t order the worktop. Or the doorknob.Emails. Texts. Messages left. Phone calls. Numerous visits to the showroom. They were all met with either periods of radio silence from the owner or promises that were not met.Eventually, more than 12 months later, there was some momentum again, but only after threatening legal action. The door knob arrived and some snags were attended to.The worktop, no. It hadn?t been ordered and could no longer be ordered. We?d need to choose a different worktop that doesn?t match the others. We found a supplier of the matching worktop online - but PK refuse to use that supplier. No idea why. Money?PK Owner / MD promised to bring some samples round ?this week?. That was before Christmas. That didn?t happen and we?re back to having phone calls, messages and texts not answered or returned.Photos:- You can see the scratches where the sliding door mechanism was fitted poorly and scratched the doors. This was fixed after 12 months.- The cabinets wear so easily. That wear around the door knob is from finger nails.Reasons to avoid:- Stressful- Unprofessional- The cabinetry wears so poorly

Dealing with Pol Kefton has been the most unprofessional and unpleasant experience that I have ever encountered with a trade or service. We have been waiting for Pol Kefton to complete work on our utility and kitchen since the end of July (almost six months). We have been extensively lied to and ignored. The owner Chris Stocks has blocked my calls and ignores all emails.Initially the personal tragedy of one of Pol Kefton?s fitters was used as an excuse for the delays, however it quickly transpired that this had nothing to do with the work remaining incomplete. The immoral and quite frankly disgusting use of this extremely personal tragedy goes to show just how far Pol Kefton will stoop to avoid finishing a job.I have spoken with other ?customers? of PK who have all encountered the same ineptitude and dishonesty.I have given Chris every opportunity to contact me to resolve this, including going into the showroom, only to be ignored. I can now only warn others: DO NOT HIRE POL KEFTON!Service: Kitchen cabinet installation

Work started on our kitchen & utility 6 Dec 2021, still not complete. Attempts to contact PK (emails, texts, phone calls) all ignored. On one occasion a PK Accounts team member told us "MD says its all in hand". But no progress with issues and no personal contact whatsoever from MD (who is only sales & progress contact) since February. Plastering on quote but not provided, we had to source retrospectively which is not at all ideal. Paid extra for an upgrade to hob extractor. Upgraded extractor did not fit, alternative supplied per original quote, but no refund for additional money paid. Karndean flooring laid by 3rd party company, some issues of gaps & poor cutting in places, 3rd party has not cooperated to fix these. Kitchen units should have panels fitted both sides of corner cupboard. PK said ordered these, but they have never appeared, cannot get update 9 months later. Dishwasher door is wrong size, has been cut down to fit, but doesn't look right. PK say have ordered correct door, but no sign of it and no update despite chasing. Unprofessional poor attention to detail, not responsive. Very disappointing.Service: Kitchen design
