“Found this pub on our first night of 7 in amble in which we went every night for a pint. Staff were amazing. We had 2 dogs Dexter and Milo (the puppy). The staff and customers were first class and the dogs certainty had a fan club towards the end of the week. Will definitely re visit next year. Massive Thank you to all”
“A marvellous place to stay! Trudy took our call, direct, not via a booking site, and greeted us upon our arrival. We were staggered at the hall and our room. Furniture and decor were both in our taste range if not our price. The grounds, the walled garden show that a team cares for this property. Our dinner was lovely but presented the only downside to our visit, a lack of vege or vegan option. Soup and chips didn’t quite suffice! Myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the fish, creams, etc. it would’ve been nice for my wife to have been as replete. The hall is due a takeover/sale/renovation this year in 2025. I hope the best bits survive and that it’s not over developed in terms of ‘experiential’ because as a hotel experience Eshott Hall is a fantastic experience as it stands!”
“We called in for Sunday lunch after a day visiting Cragside.
The triple meat serving was excellent quality and filling.
I would definitely recommend you pay a visit.”
