Always very helpful and nice. Can't imagine why people post bad reviews.

Aromatherapists beware of those working in there who don't know which oils go with which oils or which drugs. It helps if they're trained themselves - however this is the job of their boss. Holland and Barrett have always been the worst for this. Go to a good aromatherapist for your sakes. I learned the subject to help myself so suggest that to others even reading up on the subject.

Shop a lot smaller than I was expecting, I would normally use the Ashington store but this has been closed, 2 staff members present, 1 male & 1 female, but they took no notice of me - too busy chatting, laughing and generally having a good time to wonder if I needed help ... I felt as though I was intruding. Luckily I found what I was looking for on my own but left the shop quickly without browsing as I normally would have done. Stars for stocking my product, cleanliness & layout.

found what i needed, good layout. first time visited this store, as ashington closed down.It would have been better if the assistant was more friendly and welcoming, she was quite sullen. Upon asking where a certain item was, she merely pointed and said over there. seemed to be too busy doing paperwork to be bothered about customers, subsequently i purchased my one item and did not prowse like normal. shopped elsewhere for remaining goods. If i could have bought my soap elsewhere I would have done. the 3 stars are for cleanliness, layout, and having my soap in stock. wont return

I visited this store today and like the calm atmosphere and choice of products.Served by a very nice and friendly assistant , makes shopping experience very good when assistants have good people skills.

Excellent service, huge variety, open till 5:30 .... v handy. And of course its all top quality.
Their huge selection of dried fruits, nuts, seeds etc make into excellent homemade 'on the go' energy bars ... better than you can buy ... being one of my first forays into home cooking a couple of years ago.
Most importantly its the face to face advice and knowledge they are able to share that makes it preferable to online shopping. Their suggestion of magnesium and D3 supplements has been a real boon to my flagging 'old geezer' sixty yr old energy levels.
