Fab little cafe. We had club sandwiches and they were absolutely amazing! We turned up just before 12 on a Saturday - which seemed a good thing as they got pretty busy very quickly!
They had a little sign up inside saying they prefer if you can pay in cash, worth being aware of as we were unprepared. And while they happily took a card payment in the future I would bring cash.

We went for an afternoon tea and it was lovely with a choice of sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and a choice of homemade cake. The staff we very pleasant and refilled the teapot.
It has a nice homely atmosphere and is tucked away just off the High Street.
We noticed a sign for Gluten Free which will be helpful for people.

My first time visiting with a great friend. Excellent hosting, fabulous food (I had a pot of Earl Grey tea and a bacon, brie and cranberry baguette with coleslaw, green salad and crisps accompaniment). My friend had the most delicious soup and a huge cheese scone.
I will definitely be coming back - a lovely, tranquil ambience. One of the nicest cafés I have been to.

Really wonderful tea room, staff friendly and accommodating. Excellent gluten free scones you can't tell they are gluten free!! Lovely garden setting with beautiful flowers to enjoy.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free sandwiches and scones, noticed something vegan on the menu but can't remember what as not a vegan sorry!
