I have given this review 1 star only because there isn't an option to give 0 stars.
Customer service at this store is non existent, stood in a que with several people no staff to be seen apart from behind the pharmacy counter and they didn't bother to acknowledge anyone.
Ended up walking out and going to Superdrug where I was served straight away by a polite and efficient team member.
It wouldn't surprise me if this branch of Boots was ear marked for closure.
In a very competitive market customer service should be top priority, something totally absent in this store.

Stood at the prescription counter for the apparently obligatory 3 to 4 minutes while the three staff behind bustled about and ignored me. When they finally deigned to notice me I asked to see the Pharmacist and was told she was busy and I would have to wait 15 to 20 minutes, I looked round the all but empty store and said I'd leave it. Fifteen minutes later I'd walked the quarter mile to Wellway Pharmacy been looked after and was walking back past Boots on my way home.

Been to this Boots a number of times and it always take a long time to pay and get out of the store, which lead me to believe the shop is understaffed, there is always a queue.
Never noticed this at many of the other Boots I go to in other locations

Dreadful prescription service. Unreliable, detached from the need to provide ?customer delight?. Typified by their inability to supply prescriptions anywhere near lunchtime- which is exactly the time working people can get to the pharmacist. Also by their erratic/unreliable text reminder service for prescriptions. Understaffed and seemingly uncaring.

I have visited a few times , and found no staff on the counters , but all huddled up in the pharmacy end. I was having my prescription sent there from chester le street , as I am staying with a friend. I got half my prescription one day , and told to come back fir the rest. They had no record of it , even though I had been told it would be there. The pharmacist was sullen and made me feel like a criminal. None of the staff practice good customer service. Don't go to Boots

In 18 weeks of prescriptions Boots Bridge Street provided inaccurate and incomplete prescriptions 15 times. They can not be relied upon. How sad that a once quality company has become so poor.

My experience in this store leads me to believe that social media ?norms ? and lack of respect is creeping into over counter service. Perhaps some staff training n customer services would help

Never enough staff. Long waits. I moved my prescriptions to the Boots next to my GP. More efficient. I have complained about this Boots branch before.
