Popped in for a browse on Monday and left clutching two books. The staff are outstanding and seem to have an encyclopedic knowledge of literature and their stock. Highly recommended

The Waterstones bookshop in Newcastle is centrally located next to Greys Monument in an imposing three story building with lots of space to browse in comfort and relative peace.
