Chris did a brilliant job of healing my boots. He was quick, courteous and did a cracking job.He also revived the suede with some (magic) cobbler spray and found a perfect pair of replacemen laces.Boots are now as good as new. ??????????

Fantastic service! I've been thinking of getting my walking boots re-soled for the past few weeks, so I popped into my nearest Timpson branch to discuss options. To my surprise and delight, I was told not only that my boots could be re-soled but that they could be fitted with a replacement of the original Vibram sole or an alternative Vibram sole to my particular requirements. I believe the option to get a good quality pair of walking boots re-soled is a much better option than throwing otherwise perfectly good boots away simply because I've worn the soles down using them for their intended use. The cost of the 'renewal' is far less than buying brand new boots (the soles of which will inevitably wear down anyway) and I've 'worn in' these boots now, so they are really comfortable for mile after mile of walking and to an extent are like reliable, trusted, friends so why would I just throw them away now when they still have plenty of life and adventures to be had left in them. Excellent, knowledgeable and friendly service worth every penny!

Took my mum's watch in for a new battery and was charged £11.45 for the man there to fit a new one, which took about a minute. The watch itself only cost my mum £12, it seems like very poor value.

Because I have to shield, and cannot leave the house, I asked my wife to replace the batteries in 2 key fobs. She went to our local Timpson branch, for their expertise. The first person she talked to said that only Audi could get into the fob. When she returned, another person fitted the batteries (available from Amazon for £2.05 for 2) and charged her £30.00 !!!!! Shop locally? Never again!

Massively helpful and friendly. Love the ethos of Timpsons, fantastic charity work. If someone is unemployed they'll dry clean their suit free of charge, to give a helping hand. Brilliant!
