Went for a coffee and decided to have food. We were very glad that we did as it was very good. Would definitely go again.

My favourite Italian cafe anywhere, and the one place we visit for lunch everytime we take the trip from Alston to Hexham. I always have the Maloreddus pasta with a side of rustic bread, washed down with a glass of fabulous Italian white wine. Fantastic value for money, and how they prepare such delicious meals in that tiny kitchen is a miracle!

Lovely atmosphere, nice food. Small portions, overpriced.

Roast pepper soup was awful, really waterery. Rap & focotcha was OK ish. Won't be back.

On a sunny day, sit in the courtyard and pretend you're in Italy. Excellent food and friendly service. Don't miss

An amazing cafe in the heart of Hexham that serves authentic Italian food.
We have been many times as the food is delicious, the team is very friendly and there's a lovely courtyard in the back which is great for sunny days.
Highly recommended.

Disappointing experience. Hurried along by a disinterested waiter who clearly didn?t want us to be there, despite arriving nearly 50 mins before cafe closing time. Food was ok but nothing special. Large glasses of wine weren?t. There are better cafés in Hexham.

I had an Americano and one slice of toast today. I was charged £6.50. I queried the cost as coffee is £3.50 so one slice of toast cost £3. I argued with the man but he took my money. I will not be returning. A shame because the coffee was very good but I was ripped off.

Really delicious and authentic Italian food. We chose a dish called Malloreddus and the chef was genuinely enthusiastic about sharing with his customers the pleasures of a comforting traditional Sardinian recipe.Nice courtyard too. Perfect if you have a dog with you.
