Really like this place. Limited menu but very tasty food and very good coffee. A great atmosphere: seems to be a popular place to catch up with friends for a natter...

We have visited the queen's Hall often. Particularly after rhyme time at the library when they have welcomed children/families and the relative chaos they bring. Today we visited with a small child and a lady in particular was so exceptionally rude that we had to leave. She could clearly see that my child was struggling and created a made up rule that my child had to be seated while in the cafe. This lead to a complete break down and meant we had to leave the cafe with a half finished meal and not a sip of tip tea being drunk. I will NEVER return. The Rising Cafe welcome us with open arms and that is where will visit in future

A great little cafe opposite Sele park with lots of parking out the front to Beaumont Street. The cafe does the most amazing homemade scones. Easy access for people of all abilities and a great atmosphere.

The day I went the toilets were out of action and only the staff ones were useable, but not too clean!.

Excellent scones, a good array of cakes, wonderful coffee, friendly service. Can get very busy later in the morning, it's a good idea to arrive shortly after 10am to be sure of a seat.

First visit to Hexham, to meet friends who live in the town. Lots of lovely streets and this was a great choice to stop by for a coffee. Very nice ambiance and staff very friendly. Definitely recommend

Having visited a few cafes in Hexham we have settled on this one where the friendly staff serve excellent snacks and coffee. It?s always busy but service is quick enough. Dog friendly with a water bowl always available.

We moved to Corbridge, a nearby village, back in August 2022, and we came into Hexham for a walk around with both sets of grandparents! What an absolutely brilliant find! Food was absolutely amazing - genuinely one of the best meals I?ve had for ages! Staff were very friendly and good craic, and of course the venue is ace! We will 100% be back, and regularly!! Thanks guys.

Spacious, but lacking in ambience. Staff ranged from super friendly to snotty. Everyone raves about scones which were ok. Though I didn?t have the cheese one and that did look a lot better than my plain scone. Coffee ok. Nothing to get excited about though.
