Huge shout out to MKM building supplies in Hexham for saving the day! I popped in on behalf of work to try and get some rock salt for a disabled client to be able to get out of the house in her wheelchair today as her driveway is treacherous.
The guys at MKM were waiting for their rocksalt delivery and as I'm not from the area I asked if they could point me in the direction of somewhere else I could try.
A particularly nice gentleman said they could do better than that and in the spirit of Christmas, filled a bag from their own grounds supply so we had enough to clear the drive.
Highly recommend for excellent customer service alone!
Always good to pass on a good deed too!
