Me and Eric my twin brother spent 2nts here having phenomenal cheap meals, great selection and beers, wines, cider too, my favourite was a 10oz gammon with eggs, peas and jacket potato it was truly delicious. Very nice pub and the staff were all very friendly and quality quick table service with the app.Very nice atmosphere rounded it all up.

We all know that Wetherspoons are cheap and cheerful establishments. However, in my experience this often translates into rowdy, abysmal food and undesirable clientele. This branch is absolutely lovely. I remember when it was a cinema years ago and the pub retains all the Art Deco style of years gone by. I went on a Tuesday lunchtime so it was quiet. The bar area is ground level, with a large seating area down some grand art stairs. Overall, it and was very clean and tidy. Found a booth easily and ordered via the app, though I noticed most people ordering at the bar. The staff were very friendly and our drinks were brought over within 5 minutes of ordering. Just ten minutes later, the food came out and the young lad who brought it came back a few minutes later to see if everything was ok. Nicest steak I?ve had in a long time and at just £10 for a steak dinner with a drink is an epic price. My other half really enjoyed his fish and chips too. The toilets were ?bog? standard but clean. Overall a good experience and I?ll be sure to go back the next time I?m in Hexham.

Visited on a mid week morning, very quiet. Excellent value for breakfast with quality food and lovely hot chocolate for less than £4.00. Staff friendly and very clean building. Well worth a visit.

Amazing transformation of an old cinema, and well worth a look. At time of visit not many cask ale options & at least one went off whilst there! However it was Easter & had clearly been very busy.
However great friendly staff and beer eventually settled on very drinkable!

If I was rating this place on the food alone, it would be five stars. Very tender & tasty sirloin steak, and nice fresh rainbow quinoa side salad. But the drink let this place down today.
They had changed the tap from beer to cider (Strongbow Dark Fruit). The first pint of cider I sent back, "very beerish", but I couldn't be bothered to send the second pint back which was better but tainted, and I left unfinished. They really need to properly flush out the pipes if they're doing this, or stay with beer on the same tap.

Love the quirky art deco building. Best to go down the stairs and sit there if you want to eat though, as the bar area is always busy.

I didn't think I liked the cinema until I went here. I assumed the cinemas was brash, loud and in your face. But at Hexham Forum the seats are red velvet (or similar), leg room is plentiful, the staff are personable and overall the atmosphere is relaxed. So I now really enjoy the cinema.
