We sought out this cafe because it was veggie/vegan, didn't realise it was a social & employment enterprise too but very glad to support such a venue. Lovely service, plenty tea in the pot & generous portion of cake. Happy to leave additional payment to support this business.

Had the panini with falafel. Absolutely amazing, homemade falafel. Visited today while wandering Hexham and found it by chance. Staff and food were fantastic. Managed to grab a seat outside which made it even better. Beautiful little place and staff were polite, and on the ball. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants some nice quality food at a good price.

What an absolutely lovely cafe staff make you feel very welcome, gluten free choices good and food well presented and freshly made. I would highly recommend it will most definitely go again.

An excellent community/ charity veggie cafe with some decent vegan options. We had the soup and sandwich deal- both delicious and a fair price. So a great food and drink venue, friendly cheerful service for a great local cause - perfect

An absolute gem hidden from the main square. I only wish I'd visited sooner.
As a vegan, Hextol Tans always has a varied selection throughout the week of both savoury and sweet; more importantly, homemade, completely delicious, portion sizes are generous and the prices are very reasonable.
My go to place when I'm in town. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.
I highly recommend paying a visit and by doing so supporting a worthy cause

Am thrilled to have found this absolute gem of a coffee shop. Have been in the area for the past year and only came in a few weeks ago. The food is delicious every time; be it the vegan breakfast, a soup or the potato and cauliflower curry (which I have just polished off) and don't get me started on the Biscoff Cake and Bakewell tart. Is now my go to favourite great portuon sizes and great value for money. Lets dace it everyone is counting their pennies. I highly recommend giving it a try and whilst doing so you will also be supporting a worthy cause....

We've been here twice for lunch and had delicious fresh food both times with wonderfully friendly and attentive service. I had the root veg and lentil bowl today which was amazing! Highly recommend this lovely place.

Had a lovely lunch here, all made on the premises. We had quiche, which was really very good and came with a decent portion of salad, and sweet potato falafel which was also very tasty and came with a lovely couscous and sunflower seed salad. We also treated ourselves to a brownie and a granola, both delicious! Heartily recommend this place!
