The haddock was lovely but the chips left a lot to desire, they were so big & quite tasteless. The wood shelf by our table was thick with dust & the table decoration flowers were dead. It was Mother's Day so I expected more! My companion had Sunday lunch & said it was lovely.

Great little pub, with good food, great selection of beers and friendly attentive staff, a roaring fire and dog friendly. Dropped one star on food as meals were served with fries not chips. Will definitely be visiting next time we are in Hexham.
