Super friendly place for light meals, tea, coffee, cake or a bottle of cold beer. Old-fashioned in the nicest possible way with attentive, caring service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Very friendly, our dog was made to feel welcome as much as we were.The food was 1st class, real homemade soup, very fresh cheese scones, and we were given the choice of whether we had our drinks before or with our meal, not very often this happens elsewhere5 stars are not enough to give this place

A great dog friendly coffee shop, enjoyed a nice flat white ( which was the perfect size) and chat with the owners, was made to feel very welcome. Lovely place.

Cosy but tired outlet close to the market. Friendly and efficient service. Very good cup of coffee and tea in a China cup. Cheese scones lacked cheese and had been microwaved. At £6 + for drink and scone - a bit on the pricey side.

Stopped in here while visiting Hexham, lovely Toasties, friendly and dogs allowed. Really liked this cafe and would recommend.
