Very average food for the price. We got the chicken burger and the lasagne. The chips with the burger practically broke my teeth as I was eating them. The burger seemed cheap. The food is honestly nicer in wetherspoons! We did arrive just before the kitchen closed so maybe that had something to do with it but I wouldn't risk it again....

We stopped here while visiting Hadrian?s Wall. The food was great, the staff was very welcoming, and the views were unbeatable. I would love to go back.

Great food, reasonable pricing. Callum was very entertaining with his Roman speech with our lunch along Hadrians Wall. Wonderful view of the countryside out the back.

Stopped in our tour of the UK. Callum was a great host serving up great food and some light entertainment. Afterwards relaxing with a drink and some wonderful views. Highly recommend The Swan.

The. Soup and sandwich offering was excellent and the service was fantastic. I would heartily recommend The Swan for anyone who enjoys good food and prompt professional service.
