Stopped here en route to Rothbury. The food was delicious and the service fast and efficient. Staff were lovely and friendly.
My husband enjoyed some hearty soup with his sandwich, which he really enjoyed. I had the tuna mayo, which was served on the most delicious granary roll I've had in a long time.
I would have loved to try the cakes or a scone as they looked fabulous but had to forgo as was so full. The coffees were also great ?

A thoroughly delicious cheese, bacon and black pudding toastie, served with salad, coleslaw and some tortilla chips - and exceptionally helpful staff. Highly recommended! A very tempting selection of cakes - seventeen different sorts today - including gluten free and vegan options.

Called in for a coffee whilst in the area for the Spine Race. Excellent double espresso and super chocolate cake. Dog friendly and personable, obliging staff. Will certainly revisit when in the area.

Brilliant friendly cafe on Route 72 NCN route and Roman Wall Path. Parking for car users. Outside seating for sunny days, warm and cosy inside too. 100% recommend!
