Called in for a cider after a walk . Nice pub , friendly atmos phere great location

We parked to the rear to go on a local walk with the hope of a pint afterwards. When we got back the landlord opened early for us (a group of 9) to have a well earned pint, pet the pub dog (Sonny) and play some darts! Really friendly, lovely welcoming atmosphere. Thank you!

Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the food and drink. When we walked in there was a man behind the bar he said nothing to us ! Disappearing for more than 6 mins, we stood looking at other customers, had he said I’ll be back in 5 or there’s a problem but nothing !!
