We stopped for afternoon drinks and cake. Food and drinks were good but the only seating withdogs was outside. This in itself wouldn't have been an issue other than the wasps. To be fair the staff did warn us about the wasps and had placed wasp traps on the tables.
The chocolate cake was good and the fruit scone was reasonable.

A quick stop on the way back to London. Very friendly staff, lovely cafe and great coffee and baked goods. I had a double espresso ad a slice of their Dubai pistachio tart, which was very good. If we had been staying a. It closer I would definitely be going their for breakfast or brunch.

Breakfast celebration with relatives. Great company and conversation in a convivial environment perked up with a stonking breakfast (Eggs Royale in my case) washed down with oodles of latte. What's not to like.

Visited yesterday, one of the worst customer experiences ever. Arrived after booking, blanked by numerous staff members. Finally got seated, ordered food/drinks. Chicken & cheese toastie was basically a thick slice of bread, a few slices of processed chicken topped with cheese. £11.95?absolute joke! My partner ordered the afternoon tea. She had to ask 3 times for a plate. We asked for hers to be boxed up so we could leave, we just sorted it out for ourselves. Thankfully we didn?t have to pay a service charge for this shambles. Staff were horrific, food was worse. 100% wouldn?t recommend!

Sadly not the excellent food we've come to expect. Purchased from the RF for years. Yesterday was our 4th visit this year and it really wasn't up to the other 3. The pan haggerty pie, previously and properly made with layers of sliced potato, onion and cheese, now has watery mash potato. The bannoffee pie had a firm layer of some overly sweet substance on the bottom with just a coating of caramel on the banana. A confirmed sweet tooth declined to finish their portion. Feel genuinely disappointed that the quality that has fuelled the expansion of the RF, seems to have fallen off.

The food was tasty and fresh. Service was okay but some of the younger staff looked like they didn't want to be there. I was a little disappointed that there was no mention of the birthday we were celebrating even though it was asked about in the booking. ( Why ask if you don't mention it when we get there) Overall, I would return and I would recommend.

We had afternoon tea and it was excellent. The portions are huge and the minced beef pie I had was the best I have ever had! If you are able to make it to one of their locations you will not be disappointed. The quality is of an extremely high standard and the staff are friendly and helpful. I will be going again the next time I am in the area.

I was there on Saturday, I was disappointed in the ham cheese and pickle sandwich, brown bread loads of greens one slice of super market ham one slice cheese and lick of pickle, sorry but NO was not up to the standard I expected ,rest of the afternoon tea as great ,

We had the pleasure of afternoon tea at Felton today it was our first visit and won't be our last it was lovely the staff where really lovely the food was fantastic as well as the atmosphere
