Called in yesterday for lunch. Ordered Blt stottie with chips!! It was basically a bacon sandwich with some old lettuce my sister had roast sandwich sttottiewhich was gammon this was poor too. Wish I had complaind at the time but will not return needless to say very poor value.

Sunday lunch is good, fresh vegetables, good meat. Staff are friendly. Parking outside, disabled access, disabled toilets. Defibrillator outside for public use.

Popped in as we were passing today, Tuesday
Not our first visit and it never fails to delight.
Had roast of the day ,both of us, only gammon available but delicious.
Vegetables were perfectly cooked and a nice touch was they offered gravy on the side, the way my wife prefers.
Nice portions, I finished mine but couldn't manage a sweet but my wife had sticky toffee pudding which she said was perfect.
Attentive staff, even to the point of warning us when someone came to empty slot machine we were sitting next to there would be a little bit of noise, it wasn't a problem
As I said not our first visit and it won't be the last

Lovely meal yesterday at this pub in Longhorsley. We were looking for a lunch venue & called in on the off chance. Menu is quite extensive, but they do a lunchtime menu of two courses for £15.
I opted for the liver,onions & mash which was just right with lver not overcooked. Unfortunately the cherry pie had all gone, so other option was the waffle & ice cream, which was very nice also, although never been a fan of waffles. The staff were super atrentive, very friendky & we had a good chat. Will definitely return.

Having passed this pub many many times before decided to actually stop for food for once and can honestly say I was not disappointed!
There was a nice welcoming atmosphere, the staff were very pleasant and the food was absolutely amazing!

We went into the establishment 8 of us without booking just on the off chance. The staff were incredible. Very welcoming and led us into the dining room as it would be quiet. They rushed about moving tables to accommodate us and quickly set the table and got our drinks.
The food was excellent. No fault was seen and the staff handled 8 surprise guests in there stride

Had a lovely relaxing evening here with a few beers nice friendly atmosphere we are always made welcome we come here every time we stay at the lake at linden campsite the owner recommended this lovely pub we love visiting this area so nice and peaceful and friendly

Great place and really good food.
Ate here 3 times over a week. We didn't pre book, just popped in.
Dog friendly if you eat in the bar. Nice beer garden.
Really friendly staff.
Can't comment on the rooms, as we didn't stay over.
