The restaurant has a great vibe and the personnel is really attentive. Dinner was an overall great experience, starter to dessert and the drink I had was awesome! A couple of the dishes were a bit salty, and the duck confit ended up a little on the dry side, but nothing to put us off. The mash was of the best I have tasted, silky and tasty. The only way I can fairly describe the cheesecake is with the word superb. I would visit again.

Family Sunday lunch. Teenagers who have different tastes. There was no sides on menu but the staff and chef happily catered to our request. Really friendly staff

We love it here. The vegetarian tasting menu is superb and very reasonably priced. It's not at all stuffy - the staff are great, so it makes for a lovely evening out.

Food was extra special and different class. Our first visit during Newcastle Restaurant Week but will definitely return. Prices might appear a little higher than elsewhere but the quality, service and staff are worth paying that little bit extra for. An absolute treat! Thank you most sincerely.

Things tasted as they had been made way ahead (crab roll)not great difficult to eat . Sunday lunch was ok but nothing special wasn't super expensive but that isn't an excuse for mediocre sorry better to have less of something delicious than lots of okay
